(Minghui.org) My wife and I are young Falun Dafa practitioners. When we married two years ago, we created a steady cultivation environment, and we study the Fa together every day.
At that time, I had trouble talking to strangers about Falun Dafa and why the practice is persecuted in China. However, my wife often went out and talked to people about the persecution. She suggested that I go to places of interest to clarify the facts about the practice.
I hesitated at first and claimed that I was busy with other projects. After studying the Fa and discussing our experiences together, I was touched by her bravery and dedication. We have since gone to many places and talked to people about the benefits of the Falun Dafa practice, and why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting it.
The Pacific Mall is said to be the largest Asian shopping mall in North America, and most of the customers are Chinese. This mall is therefore an important place for truth-clarification. Because my wife and I both work during the week, we go to the malls on weekends, when there are many people shopping.
To maximize how many people we can reach, we split up. I usually look for predestined people around the periphery of the mall, sometimes inside and sometimes outside. When I see Chinese people, I start a conversation with them.
Usually, those who do not react negatively when hearing the facts can be persuaded to quit the CCP and its affiliated organization with just a few sentences. When people do not show any interest, but do not ask me to go away, I can often persuade them by saying a bit more.
An Angry Man Calms Down
On one occasion, I was clarifying the facts to a middle-aged man who threatened that he would beat me.
I remained calm, but he then rushed forward and grabbed my collar. Then he suddenly looked listless and left. I realized that the energy field of a Falun Dafa practitioner is pure, and can disintegrate anything unrighteous.
Elderly Lady Quits the Young Pioneers
When I saw an elderly lady in a parking lot, I talked to her about quitting the CCP. She answered that she was not a CCP or a Youth League member, so she did not need to quit. I asked her if she joined the Young Pioneers. She responded that she did, but she was just a child.
I said, “At that time, we knew nothing, but we had to raise our right hands and swear that we would fight with our lives for the Party. That pledge should be removed. The Party bears responsibility for the bad deeds it has done and the people it has killed. We shouldn’t become its scapegoats and take the blame.”
She agreed with me. I told her the truth about the staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident, and the regime's horrific crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners. She quit the Young Pioneers and thanked me repeatedly.
She wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa. I told her about the beauty of the practice, and that it has spread around the world. She then asked how she could learn the practice, and I told her about the Tianti Bookstore, where they do free exercise instruction and play videos of the Falun Dafa teachings.
I even took her to the bookstore and gave her the Falun Dafa website link. She told me that she planned to visit the website. I was very happy when I saw the expression of joy on her face.
On Christmas Day I again met this lady and her daughter. I went over and persuaded her daughter to quit the CCP. I know that Master does not want to leave any predestined people behind.
A Woman From My Hometown Quits the CCP
I saw a lady across the road when was on my way home one day, after shopping. I crossed, ready to clarify the facts to her, but she was staring at me as if we had already met. I started talking with her, and I realized that she was from the same city as me, and even lived near me. She had come to visit her relatives here in Canada.
This was an excellent opportunity to change the topic. “Others like myself have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations for our safety,” I said. “Nobody wants to take the blame for the Party's bad deeds. You see, the Party is persecuting Falun Dafa, a practice based on Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. This is a crime against humanity.”
I told her about the forced organ harvesting from living practitioners, and the worldwide efforts to stop it. She renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations right then.
I came across this lady again a few weeks later in the mall, and she was with her daughter. Her daughter also quit the CCP.
Saving People in the Parking Lot
On another day, I met a young Chinese man who was on a tour from the United States. “There are too many people here, and there aren’t any seats left in the mall,” he said. “I have some food in my car.” He invited me along, so I went with him. After chatting for a little while, he decided to quit the CCP.
I then saw another car with its windows open, waiting to park. So I started a conversation with the driver. He was visiting from Montreal. With just a few sentences, I helped him quit the CCP.
I later went into the mall and clarified the facts to anyone who would listen to me, and many indeed quit the CCP.
Normally, I look for people who are chatting, sitting, or taking a break, or those who are just walking around, as if not in a hurry, and may have time to listen.
Do Not Miss the Last Chance
I meet all kinds of people when doing Dafa truth-clarification. Only when I have righteous thoughts and behave righteously do I receive good results in saving people.
Although two years is not a long time, I have been tempered while saving people. Through this tempering, my righteous thoughts have emerged, as well as my sincere wish to have the wisdom to deal with any difficulty that might arise while talking to people about Falun Dafa. The righteous thoughts have now permeated my entire body, which encourages me to walk diligently during the final period of the Fa-rectification. I know this period of time is priceless.
Predestined sentient beings are waiting for salvation. I will use every opportunity to save people. Whether sentient beings listen to our truth-clarification or not, we should do it without missing the last chances Master has given us.
