(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Ruiling from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province was secretly sentenced to four years of imprisonment at the end of 2015. She is imprisoned at the Xinxiang Women's Prison where she has been tortured. Her life is now in danger.

Ms. Li Ruiling, 63, was illegally arrested at home by officers from the Renmin Road Police Station on September 26, 2014. She was taken to the Zhengzhou No. 3 Detention Center. Her arrest was later approved by the authorities and she was tried by the Jinshui District Court from April to June 2015.

Her attorney pleaded not guilty for Ms. Li and requested that the court release her. The court did not give any verdict during the trial. Ms. Li continued to be illegally detained and her family was not allowed to visit her.

Ms. Li's family suddenly received notice on December 15, 2015 that they could visit her at the Xinxiang Women's Prison in Henan Province. Her husband and son immediately went to see her and learned that the Jinshui District Court had secretly sentenced Ms. Li to four years' imprisonment.

Ms. Li has been injured both physically and mentally during her time in prison. The guards deprived her of sleep in order to force her to give up her belief in Falun Gong. Her hair turned grey and her teeth have fallen out. She cannot eat and is now emaciated. Her life is in great danger.

Ms. Li's husband is traumatized by everything that has happened and is on the brink of a mental collapse. Their son is extremely worried about his parents and is trying to secure his mom's release.
