(Minghui.org) After 10 years of living away from his home to avoid being persecuted for practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Dang Cunping returned home to celebrate the Chinese New Year with his family. Tian Xiangli, the man who had reported him to police in 2006 for practicing Falun Gong, reported him again. Mr. Dang ended up being arrested, and his son was viciously beaten by police.
Mr. Dang, in his 40's, lives in a village in Yongjing County, Gansu. He had left his home at the end of 2006 and returned at the end of 2015.
While he and his family were celebrating the 2016 Chinese New Year on February 8, 2016, several police officers surrounded his home, climbed over the wall, threw him to the ground, and handcuffed him.
His son tried to help him, so police also beat him. One officer grabbed hold of him, while others hit him. The child's neck was injured and blood covered his face, neck and body. They then took him to the local police station. It took several tries by Mr. Dang's family to have the young boy released.
Two police officers arrived with a handcuffed and shackled Mr. Dang at his home two days later. They ransacked the house and then left again with him.
