(Minghui.org) When I took a new Minghui calendar to an elderly gentleman, he shared with me two amazing stories about how he had benefited from Falun Dafa and asked me to write them down.
“I hope more people can know that Falun Dafa is real,” he said. “Falun Dafa is a true Buddha cultivation way! I want more people to say, ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ so that they benefit from Falun Dafa! Falun Dafa can save lives!”
What follows is what he told me.
Thankful to Falun Dafa
My name is Fang Zhongting. I am 82 years old and live in Qian'an City, Hebei Province. At the end of 2013, a Falun Dafa practitioner gave me a 2013 Minghui calendar. I read everything in it and was touched by the amazing stories.
Ever since then, I have read the calendar many times and, before I leave the house, I sincerely say, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Saying them makes me feel wonderful, as if I have more energy.
My wife and I were on our way to a flower shop on our tricycle in 2013. At an intersection, I did look before turning, and another vehicle was headed straight for us. I had to really step on the gas to avoid a potentially serious accident.
We ended up in a ditch that was two meters deep and filled with stones. Although the front half of our tricycle was smashed, we were not injured. I told my wife that Falun Dafa had saved our lives.
My wife responded, “Without Dafa’s protection, the fall certainly would have fractured our skulls. It’s amazing! Let us express our gratitude to Dafa and the founder of Dafa for saving our lives!”
Saved a Second Time
That winter, I once lost control of my tricycle and started to slide backwards. I cried out, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” My tricycle stopped and I was safe.
I do not know what day I was born on, and I’ve never had a birthday party. When I learned that my children were planning a big 80th birthday party for me, I said, “I do not want a party. Falun Dafa saved my life. We should express our gratitude to the founder of Falun Dafa.”
My sincerest wish is that more people can know that Falun Dafa is great and sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is great.” That way they can benefit from Dafa just like I did!
