(Minghui.org) There have been large-scale arrests of Falun Dafa practitioners in many provinces. Some were arrested because they filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party, who started the persecution of Falun Dafa. Others were arrested because they did not pay attention to security while using mobile phones.
Our cultivation environment seems to be more relaxed as we approach the end of the Fa rectification period. Practitioners are often careless and use the same mobile phone for both truth clarification work and personal use. Some of them call from home when talking to people about Falun Dafa and use WeChat, a free messaging and calling app in China, on the same phone to communicate with each other. They think that their righteous thoughts are strong enough to prevent them from encountering problems.
The Minghui website has recently published many articles regarding security issues of using mobile phones in China. When one's righteous thoughts are not strong, it is easy to attract bad elements. When many practitioners do not take this seriously, it could affect a large group of practitioners.
In one Minghui article, a practitioner suggested several things regarding the use of mobile phones:
1. Those working on the same project should use payphones, or a dedicated mobile phone and phone number to communicate with each other.
2. One should not casually share sensitive information on the mobile phone, and practitioners should not talk about their projects with others who are not in the same project.
3. Practitioners should avoid visiting each other unnecessarily.
For the security and safety of all practitioners, we should treat this issue seriously.
