(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 were illegally arrested.

1. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Jiang Donglin, Mr. Zhang Yongqing, Ms. Wang Liangxia, Ms. Huang Yefeng, and Mr. Chen Xinan's wife were arrested by officers from the Pingxiangmen Police Station on July 20, 2016, when they went there to ask for Mr. Chen's release.
Mr. Chen's wife was released that day and four others were given 15 days of detention. Mr. Jiang was released later that day because he failed the required physical examination for detention.
2. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fan Huifen Detained
Ms. Fan Huifen was arrested by officers from Longhua County Domestic Security Division and Tangtougou Police Station on July 20, 2016. She is being held at Longhua Detention Center.
3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Fengying Sentenced
Ms. Li Fungying, 78, was recently sentenced to a three year prison term.
4. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yongfa Arrested
Mr. Wang Yongfa was arrested on July 21, 2016.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Nie Xiuying Detained
Ms. Nie Xiuying was arrested by local officers on July 18, 2016, for posting informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, and other personal belongings. She is detained in Anhui City.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Han Bing Detained
Ms. Han Bing was arrested on June 18, 2016, for hanging up banners which contained information about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days of detention.
7. [Langzhong City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Mr. Wu Dongshu, Ms. Dong Suhua, and Ms. Mou Mingxiu were arrested on July 20, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Langzhong Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

8. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Fengrong and Ms. Liu Shufan Detained
Ms. Zhang Fengrong and Ms. Liu Shufan were arrested by officers including Wang Haiying from Mishan Domestic Security Division on July 21, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Mishan Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

9. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qi Yufu Detained
Mr. Qi Yufu, sentenced to a three year prison term, is incarcerated at Kangjiashan Prison in Shenyang City.
10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Min Arrested
Ms. Ji Min was arrested by officers from the Jinmen Road Police Station on July 21, 2016, for hanging up banners which had information about Falun Gong on them.

11. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Shen Zhichun was arrested on July 15, 2016.
Ms. Zhao Guixiang was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Liuhe County Domestic Security Division on July 16, 2016. She was taken to the Liuhe County Detention Center for 10 days of detention.
12. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yan Detained
Ms. Wang Yan was arrested by officers from Fushun City Police Department and Hailang Town Police Station on July 20, 2016. She was taken to the Nangou Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

13. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang] Mr. Chen Sihai and Ms. Luan Qiao Sentenced
Mr. Chen Sihai was recently sentenced to a five-year prison term by Shihezi City Court, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. The judge is Li Jiawen.
Ms. Luan Qiao was recently sentenced to a three year prison term.
Both practitioners will appeal.
14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Jingtao Arrested
Ms. Li Jingtao was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Police Department on July 21, 2016.
15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Xingfang Arrested
Mr. Yang Xingfang was arrested by officers from Qingshan District Police Department on July 19, 2016.
16. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shilian Arrested
Ms. Wang Shilian was arrested by plainclothes officers on July 16, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained at the Quanshan Police Station and later released due to high blood pressure.
17. [Chongqing] Mr. Liu Daoquan Persecuted
Mr. Liu Daoquan, hospitalized at the Chongqing Southwest Hospital, was taken back to Yongchuan District Hospital by officers from Yongchuan Prison on July 9, 2016.
He was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of Yongchuan District Hospital on July 13. The prison guard insisted on shackling him even though he was in critical condition.
18. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Aiyu Detained
Ms. Pang Aiyu was recently arrested and had her home ransacked by officers from the Madian Police Station for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained at Qingdao No. 3 Detention Center.
