Eliminating the Attachment to Seeing with One's Third Eye

Sept. 14, 2016 |   By a practitioner from China

(Minghui.org) While reading Master's recent article “On the Waves Stirred Up by the Article About the Assistant Spirit.” I noticed that although Master used the word “disciples” six times, but he used “students” when talking about those whose third eye was open.

Master said,

“Some students have seen a certain situation—that is just a manifestation of Dafa disciples’ compassionately saving sentient beings, and that is also simply an expression of good and bad states of sentient beings themselves amid the turmoil as you save them.” (“On the Waves Stirred Up by the Article About the Assistant Spirit”)

The more often I read this article, the more I realized the seriousness of the situation. I am one of the practitioners with the third eye open, and concluded that we must not deviate from the Fa because of what we see.

Deviating from the Fa

It is very easy for us to be attached to what we see. Some practitioners with the third eye open are attached to their vision, and thus believe that they are better than their fellow practitioners. At times, they even deviate from the Fa. Some stopped studying the Fa, stopped doing the exercises, and stopped clarifying the truth about Dafa to people.

Because of these extreme cases, other practitioners ostracized us. When we told them what we saw, we were criticized. They claimed that our visions were misleading fellow practitioners. Sometimes they said that we had demonic interference or we undermined Dafa. Thus, many of us chose to remain silent and at times no longer communicated with fellow practitioners.

Demonic and Old Forces' Interference

Master using the word “students” made me realize that we must not be attached to our vision from the third eye. If we regard our vision as the truth and deviate from the Fa, we will never be able to go beyond the old cosmos and reach Master's requirements. Then, we can only be “students” instead of “disciples”.

There are many dimensions in this universe, forming complicated structures. How can we see the ultimate truth? There is nothing to be proud of or be attached to. If we are attached to our vision, we may incur demonic interference from our own mind. In addition, the old forces may form the image of Master to mislead us.

In our daily life, when other practitioners criticize us, we indeed need to listen to them with an open mind. Then, we can evaluate what we see based on the Fa, which will tell us what is right and what is wrong. Even if we cannot accept the criticism, we need to look inward and let go of our attachments. We should never stop the communication. If we isolate ourselves from those who criticize us, the attachment will never be exposed or removed.

Cooperating

Once I had a vision, but before I shared it with a fellow practitioner, I heard this person's opposing view. First, I thought that the practitioner was wrong, but then I realized that I may also be in the wrong. With this change of mindset, I suddenly gained more wisdom and had another vision.

After several incidents like this, I was no longer attached to my own opinion. I only partially believe in what I see, while absorbing the understandings of fellow practitioners who cannot see. We can then complement each other with our wisdom.

When we cooperate, we eliminate evil interference by forming a very powerful body.
