(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in 14 provinces. According to this report, 18 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 37 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Li Fubin and his wife were arrested at home by about twelve police officers carrying guns on September 3, 2016. Their home was ransacked.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chu Chunhua Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Chu Chunhua was sentenced to two years in prison by the Daoli Court on September 7, 2016.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Pan Wenli and Another Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Pan Wenli and another practitioner with the last name Su were arrested by officers from the Sanke Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong on September 7, 2016.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Feng Arrested

Mr. Liu Feng was arrested at home by officers from the Quan'an Police Station on August 30, 2016. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.

5. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Song Guiyun Arrested

Ms. Song Guiyun from Ongniud Banner was arrested on September 6, 2016. Officers from the Ongniud Police Station also went to the homes of Ms. Ma Qianyun and Ms. Shen Xiuzhen to harass them.

6. [Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province] Mr. He Derong and Ms. Chen Deyu Detained

Mr. He Derong, a retired worker from Shougang Shuicheng Iron and Steel Group Company, and Ms. Chen Deyu, a retired worker from the Hezhang Lead and Zinc Mine, were arrested when they talked to people about Falun Gong in Shuangga Township, the Zhongshan District on August 28, 2016. Mr. He is being held in the Dayakou Detention Center. Ms. Chen is being held in the Liupanshui City No. 1 Detention Center. Family visits are not allowed.

7. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Qingzhen Arrested

Ms. Yu Qingzhen, about 65, was arrested on September 6, 2016.

8. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Xie Yiqiang Placed In Criminal Detention

Mr. Xie Yiqiang was arrested on the evening of September 4, 2016. He was held at the Jingui Town Police Station in Helan County. Police officers went to the home of Mr. Xie's father and ransacked the place the following morning. Mr. Xie was placed in criminal detention and is being held in the Helan County Detention Center.

9. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yu Mei and Ms. Su Guiying Arrested

Huang Zuhua, head of the Chikan District 610 Office, and other personnel broke into Ms. Yu Mei's home and ransacked it on September 1, 2016. They confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, and other personal belongings. They forced Ms. Yu's daughter to sign paperwork. Ms. Yu was taken to the Mazhang No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Su Guiying was with Ms. Yu that evening. She is now missing. It is likely that she was also arrested.

10. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Bangji Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Wang Bangji from Tongshan County was arrested by the Tongshan County Court in January 2016. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor. He was taken to a prison.

11. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Lian Guangzhu Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Lian Guangzhu, an employee with the Jiaoling County Forestry Bureau, was arrested in her dorm by officers from the Jiaoling County Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office on the morning of February 24, 2016. She was held in the Qinhuang Detention Center. She was tried on the morning of June 15, 2016, at the Jiaoling Court. She received a verdict of a five-year prison term and a fine of 10,000 yuan on August 19. She is being held at the Jiaoling County Detention Center.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yazhou Prosecuted by the Procuratorate

Mr. Liu Yazhou from the Jinzhou District was arrested on the first floor of the building he lives in by officers from the Dalian City Domestic Security Division and the Sanshilipu Police Station on the morning of June 28, 2016. He was taken to the Sanli Detention Center in the Jinzhou District. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a notebook computer, Falun Gong books, a phone, and other personal belongings. Mr. Liu's arrest was approved in late July 2016. His case was sent to the Procuratorate in early September for prosecution.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Yan Xiaoyue Arrested

Ms. Yan Xiaoyue was arrested by personnel from the Shiyang No. 2 Residential Community in the Erlang Neighborhood on September 6, 2016.

Mr. Niu Yuge was sentenced to three years in prison by the Xingyang City Court on August 26, 2016.

15. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiumei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiumei, 68, was arrested and taken to the Liyuan Police Station when she talked to people about Falun Gong in the Hougezhuang area on the morning of September 6, 2016. The police ransacked her home and confiscated two large bags of printed materials.

16. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Xu Xiaolan was sentenced to one and a half years in prison, Ms. Li Shumei to two years, Ms. Zhang Xiuhua to one and a half years, and Ms. Shan Jihua to three years. The four practitioners are being held in the Jinan Women's Prison.

In addition, Ms. Xu Li, Ms. Wang Aixiang, Ms. Xu Xiuzhen, and Mr. Qin Songfa, from Xiazhuang Town, were arrested for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. The Gaomi City Court sentenced Ms. Xu Li, Ms. Wang, and Ms. Xu Xiuzhen to six months in prison. The three practitioners have returned home. Mr. Qin was sentenced to seven months.

17. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jing Xiuling Taken to Prison

Ms. Jing Xiuling has been taken to the Jinan Women's Prison.

18. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Feng Tingyu Detained

Ms. Feng Tingyu from Xiaogan Town was arrested by officers from the Xiaogan Town Police Station for telling people about Falun Gong on August 30, 2016. She managed to escape, but her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books. When she went to the police station to ask for her books, she was tricked into having a sample of her blood taken. She was again arrested and taken into custody the following day. She has not returned yet.

19. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Cui and Another Practitioner Detained

Ms. Jiang Cui and another practitioner were reported when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the morning of September 5, 2016. They were arrested by officers from the Beigou Police Station. Both practitioners are being held in the Weihai Detention Center.

20. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Shen Chengxiu's Blood Sample Forcibly Taken

Several personnel including officers from the Beijing Road Police Station and Yunyan Residential Committee, broke into Ms. Shen Chengxiu's home and forcibly took blood samples from her on the morning of May 5, 2016.

The officers again broke into her home around July 25, 2016. They took her hair, saliva, and other samples. They told her and her family that these were for DNA testing.

21. [Hu County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wen Yuzhen and Another Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Wen Yuzhen and Ms. Wang were reported when they talked to people about Falun Gong in the Hu County Airport on the afternoon of September 2, 2016. They were arrested by officers from the Hu County Airport Police Station. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books and printed materials. They were physically examined, and released on bail.

22. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Arrested and Harassed

Mr. Jiang Qiguo (nearly 60) and Ms. Tian Runling (about 70) were also arrested during the large scale campaign of arrests in Nanchong on September 1, 2016.

Ms. Zhao Yumei (in her 60s), Ms. Xu Shufang, Ms. Yue Wenhua (in her 70s), Ms. Lin Qiufeng (in her 70s), and Ms. Deng Liangxiu (in her 70s) from Shunqing District were also harassed on September 1, 2016. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings from the homes of Ms. Lin and Ms. Deng. Ms. Deng's non-practitioner daughter was also arrested. The daughter was released after over one hour of interrogation at the police station.

23. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Han Shujia Arrested

About eight officers led by the director of the Xiuqiyuan Police Station pried open and entered the home of Mr. Han Shujia's son on August 17, 2016. Mr. Han and his two sons were arrested by the officers. They were taken to a detention center, and were later released after their family posted bail. Mr. Han's wife Ms. Qin was not arrested because her arm was broken.

24. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Gao Zhiping Detained

Mr. Gao Zhiping was arrested at home by officers from the Nanjie Police Station, the Xinxiang Police Station, and the Yong'anqiao Police Station on September 5, 2016. He is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.

25. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Guoxin Detained

Ms. Li Guoxin was called out from home and arrested by officers from the Beidu Police Station and the State Security Division on August 23, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party leader who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained at the Xixie Detention Center for 14 days. She returned home on the morning of September 6, 2016.

26. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Xiulan Arrested

Ms. Xu Xiulan, about 75, was arrested on September 6, 2016. Her home was ransacked.

27. [Chongqing] Mr. Qu Chi Detained

Mr. Qu Chi was arrested by officers from the Banan District Domestic Security Division on July 21, 2016. His arrest was approved on August 29, 2016. Mr. Quan Qiming, Ms. Duan Zaiying, and other practitioners were also arrested with Mr. Qu. Currently, they are being held in the Banan District Detention Center.

Ms. Huo Yinfeng and Ms. Li Xiufen, from Dahedao Township, Quzhou County, were reported when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of September 2, 2016. They were arrested by officers from the Dahedao Township Police Station. They were taken to the police station and released after their families were extorted money.

29. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Ding Changmin Detained

Six people from the Dagongqiao Village Committee and the Wuxing Township Police Station ransacked Ms. Ding Changmin's home on August 23, 2016, after she filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. They confiscated three printers and a notebook computer. Ms. Ding was arrested and detained for 15 days. She was taken directly to the Wuxing Township Police Station on September 7. She is now being interrogated.
