(Minghui.org) I work out of my house as a tailor, and often have to choose between doing business or going out and telling people the facts about Falun Dafa. Sometimes, a client says they will bring someone in need of new clothes, but they do not show up as scheduled. I discovered waiting for them is not a good idea, as I would miss my Dafa obligations.
Master said, “If something is yours, you will not lose it. If something is not yours, you will not have it even if you fight for it.” (Zhuan Falun)
Two years ago, my eyelids became heavy after lunch, and I could hardly open them. When I tried to rest, my late grandmother walked into the room. However, I knew that she was not my grandmother, but something evil meant to deceive me. She tried to drag me out of my bed, as there were people waiting for me in my shop. I called Master's name, and the apparition disappeared. I then suddenly no longer felt tired.
Something like this could affect practitioners and stop them from doing the three things. It is an intangible form of persecution that causes great damage. On a superficial level, doing the three things affected my business, and I made less money. But, in the end, I obtained a lot more in terms of virtue!
My husband was diagnosed with a rare form of early-stage stomach cancer. I asked him to practice Falun Dafa with me since medical treatment could not offer a cure. He refused to practice Dafa, but agreed to recite the two sentences“Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and promised not to interfere with my Dafa projects.
He was surprised to recover completely after having had diarrhea for a month. Not only that, but a local clothing factory hired him and offered him an excellent salary. Reciting the two sentences not only helped him recover from a life-threatening illness, but also helped him find a well-paying job!
Not everyone wants to hear the facts about Falun Dafa. Some tell me to get lost, while others listen carefully to what I have to tell them.
When I talked to an elderly man, he asked me if I had nothing better to do and demanded that I leave him alone. However, he did not leave and listened to what I had to say.
“Let me tell you,” I said, “about surveys conducted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) before the persecution. There were more practitioners in bigger cities and among intellectuals with high education levels. Many Ph.D's, professors, and scientists practiced Falun Dafa.”
He asked, “If your Master is so powerful, why didn't he punish the bad people?” I then told him about Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai who persecuted practitioners and ended up being prosecuted for corruption.
This man then wondered who would give him his retirement pay if he quit the Party. I responded, “Your retirement pension was deducted from your wages, so it is not a handout, but something you paid into during your work. The CCP would not give you any money if you had not paid into a retirement account.”
I continued to tell him about all the criminal activities committed by the CCP, such as organ harvesting from imprisoned practitioners. After he heard about this atrocity, he agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
