1. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xiang Qingshan Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Xiang Qingshan from Jintang County was arrested and taken to the Jintang County Detention Center in September 2016. He was released on bail. He was told to report regularly to the detention center. He was again arrested and taken to the detention center in November 2017. He was secretly sentenced to prison on December 5.

2. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiufen Detained

Ms. Li Xiufen, 63, was arrested when handing out Falun Gong materials to officers from the Xinxing Police Station on December 5, 2017. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Yingkou City Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

3. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Guoxiang Detained

Ms. Gao Guoxiang, 73, and Ms. Dong Juan were arrested on October 21, 2017. Both were detained in the Dezhou City Detention Center. One month later, Ms. Gao's case was transferred to the Procuratorate. Ms. Dong was released after being extorted out of 20,000 yuan.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pang Jia'e Given Two-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term

Ms. Pang Jia'e from Wafangdian City was arrested and taken to the Dalian City Detention Center by the Pulandian City police on June 30, 2017. She was later sentenced to two and a half years in prison. She is now held in Shenyang Prison.

5. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lu Yarong and Ms. Qiao Hongyan Arrested

Ms. Lu Yarong and Ms. Qiao Hongyan from Shulan City was arrested by officers from the Tiedong Police Station on December 11, 2017, for passing out calendars with information about Falun Gong.

6. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Zigao Detained

Mr. Xu Zigao from Minji Town was arrested at home on December 12, 2017. He is held in the Macheng City Detention Center.

7. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Ms. Feng Jianhua Detained

Ms. Feng Jianhua, 47, was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Nanguan Police Station on the morning of November 29, 2017. She is held in the Yulin Detention Center.

Ms. Lei Youying was recently arrested.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners' Cases Transferred to the Procuratorate

Four practitioners' cases in Bayang County were transferred to the Procuratorate. Ms. Fan Shufen is held in the Harbin City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Hongzhu and Mr. Gao Fuzhi are held in the Bayan County Detention Center. Ms. Wu Guizhi was released on bail for health reasons.

11. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cheng Shifeng Given a One-Year Prison Term

Ms. Cheng Shifeng was tried at the Dabailou Detention Center by the Pingshan District Court on December 4, 2017. She was sentenced to one year in prison.

Ms. Cheng was arrested and her home ransacked by Domestic Security officers in the afternoon of June 3, 2017, for distributing DVDs containing information about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Dabailou Detention Center for 15 days of detention. Her arrest was approved on June 15.

12. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Ms. Qu Chunrong Given Four-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term

Ms. Qu Chunrong was arrested on December 9, 2016, for telling officers at the Xiguan Police Station about Falun Gong. She was held in the Xuchang City Detention Center for over a year before being given a four-and-a-half-year prison term. She was taken to Xinxiang Women's Prison on December 8, 2017.

13. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Ren Xulan and Ms. Sun Shufang Officially Arrested

Ms. Ren Xulan and Ms. Sun Shufang from Huaibin County were arrested on November 19, 2017, for passing out calendars and talking to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Sun was released after being detained for 10 days. Ms. Ren was transferred to the Xinyang City Detention Center on December 1, 2017, after being detained for 15 days. Her arrest was approved on December 12.

14. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yu Faces Trial

Ms. Liu Yu from Nanshancheng Town was arrested by officers from the Nanshancheng Town Police Station on August 16, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was held in the Dashagou Detention Center. Her case was transferred to the Qingyuan County Court, where she was scheduled to be tried on December 19, 2017.
