Ms. Wei Jianhua was sentenced to two years in prison in September 2016. She was incarcerated on January 13, 2017.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Li Wanqing Arrested

Mr. Li Wanqing was arrested on January 27, 2017. His whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Guizhi Arrested

Ms. Wu Guizhi was arrested by police officers from Zhanqiao Train Station on February 3, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

4. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Chunlan Taken to Baiyun Women's Prison

Ms. Yang Chunlan from Leizhou City was arrested on April 24, 2015. She was sentenced to seven years in prison. She appealed, but the court upheld the original verdict without a hearing. She was taken to the Baiyun District Women's Prison in September 2016.

5. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Lian Given a Five-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term

Ms. Huang Lian from Leizhou City was arrested on December 5, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong.

She was tried on the morning of April 14, 2016 and sentenced to five and a half years in prison in January 2017. She has appealed.
