Awakened by a Dream

Feb. 28, 2017 |   By a practitioner in Liaoning Province China

(Minghui.org) My second eldest sister started to practice Buddhism during the most difficult time in her life 20 years ago. She visited different temples to pray, including all the famous temples in Northeastern China.

She used to frequently ask my third elder sister and me to practice Buddhism with her. We would always decline and told her about Falun Gong instead.

She went to work in another city in 2016. One of her close friends, who also practiced Buddhism, once told her that she had a strange dream about her deceased mother.

Her mother looked miserable and asked her to burn some ancestral money (paper money that is burned to send into the afterlife). She asked her, “You were a Buddhist cultivator. Weren't you blessed by Buddha? Weren't you able to enter heaven? Why do you need money in heaven?”

“I didn't cultivate well. Even for those who are able to cultivate well, they can't return to heaven,” answered her mother. “I didn't understand until I came here. Only Falun Gong practitioners who have cultivated well can return to heaven.”

This dream quickly spread within their group of friends and Buddhist practitioners. Many of them then understood that Falun Gong is a true cultivation practice and that its practitioners are the only ones who can truly return to heaven. They also realized that it was wrong for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to persecute Falun Gong.

Since then, my  sister has begun to distribute Falun Gong truth-clarification materials and tell people about the practice and the persecution. She despises the organ harvesting atrocities perpetrated on Falun Gong practitioners by the communist regime.

Now, whenever she goes to my third sister's home, she kowtows to the photo of Master Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Gong) even though she has not started practicing yet.

I sincerely hope that more people will learn about the truth about Falun Gong and choose a bright future for themselves.
