(Minghui.org) I am a 53-year-old-taxi driver. Even though I do not practice Falun Dafa, I support my mother in her belief of this cultivation practice, because I have witnessed the power of Dafa through her.
Last year, I took my sister-in-law to visit her father's grave. On our way back, I picked up four passengers, two women and two children. The traffic was very light, and we were cruising along the highway. Suddenly, I lost control of my car. Although I stepped on the brakes, I could not regain control. Instead it flipped over and came to rest in the middle of the road. Despite that, no one was hurt.
When I told my mother about our accident, she said: “You are blessed because you believe in and support Falun Dafa. Because I practice, the entire family benefits.”
At a friend's wedding I sat next to a man with the surname of Zhang. We both were concerned about society's ills, especially about the poisoned food, fake drugs, and so on. We agreed that all levels in society are experiencing the deterioration in ethical norms.
I was curious and asked if he had any solutions. He replied, “Yes, the solution is Falun Dafa!”
He works in a company that tests the performance of newly rolled out motorcycles. Recently while testing a new model, he did not wear his safety gear.
As he drove at 45 miles per hour, a car hit him. He flew over the car and landed on the ground. He immediately sat up.
“Instead of feeling scared,” he said, “The words 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good' appeared in my mind and I kept repeating them. Someone had once told me to recite these two phrases whenever I faced danger.”
The motorcycle was totaled, and the car was in bad shape. No one could believe that he had survived such an impact.
He went to the hospital and they only found a soft tissue injury, and scraped skin on his right hand. He went home and returned to work shortly after the accident.
