Ms. He Meiyun, 60, was arrested by officers from the Maqiao Police Station on March 15, 2017. She was given 15 days of detention.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Muzhen and Ms. Li Shufang Detained

Ms. Li Muzhen and Ms. Li Shufang were arrested on March 17, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are currently detained at the Wujiaochang Town Police Station.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Ma Zhenmin Sentenced

Mr. Ma Zhenmin was sentenced to a two-year prison term by Chaoyang District Court on December 26, 2016. He appealed on January 9, 2017. The Beijing No. 3 Intermediate Court upheld the original sentence on March 17, 2017.

Mr. Jin Yi was given 30 days of detention by the Yuqiao Police Station on March 17, 2017.

Ms. Wang Shupei and Ms. Zhang Shuxiang were arrested by officers from the Zhaoyuan City Domestic Security Division and 610 Office on March 17, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Zhang was released that day due to illness. Ms. Wang was held at a detention center for five days.

Ms. Zhao Lanjuan was arrested by officers from the Daxindian Police Department on March 16, 2017.

Mr. Tao Cheng was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on March 13, 2017. He was arrested four days before, but released due to high blood pressure.

10. [Luannan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Xiaochuan and Mr. Sun Shuqing Detained

Mr. Yang Xiaochuan and Mr. Sun Shuqing were arrested by officers from the Bogezhuang Police Station on March 14, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were held at the Luannan County Detention Center.

Mr. Bai Guoxian was recently arrested by officers from Queshan County.

12. [Mengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Yu Hua Arrested

Ms. Yu Hua was arrested on March 14, 2017, for posting stickers containing information about Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong informational materials.

13. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Hongyan Detained

Ms. Zhou Hongyan was arrested on January 15, 2017. She is currently held at Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center.

14. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Li and Ms. Huang Shuling Detained

Ms. Sun Li and Ms. Huang Shuling were arrested on March 11, 2017. They are held at Dandong Detention Center.

15. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Juejun and Ms. Xiong Ying Arrested

Mr. Zhang Juejun and Ms. Xiong Ying were arrested by officers from the Longzhouwan Police Station on March 16, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated computers, printers, Falun Gong books, and informational materials. Mr. Zhang is currently detained at the police station and Ms. Xiong was released.

16. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrests of Three Practitioners Approved

Arrests of Ms. Shi Xiangyun, Ms. Kong Qingyan, and Mr. Bao Yi were approved on January 18, 2017.
