(Minghui.org) I began to practice Dafa in 1996. I joined the Epoch Times in 2002 and started to help promote Shen Yun in 2006. When Shen Yun was holding its performances, I wrote articles about it for Epoch Times.

I have so far followed Shen Yun for 11 years.

We organize one-day Shen Yun package tours, and I was the tour guide several times. I would like to share one of my experiences as a tour guide.

I did the audience interviews at the Shen Yun shows. Ten days before Shen Yun came to Taichung, a practitioner called me and asked me to be the tour guide for an afternoon show. Since I had been assigned to do Shen Yun interviews the day before the show, I hesitated at first.

But I knew that such an arrangement was not coincidental. This group of people had attended one of my presentations on Shen Yun and decided to join the tour afterward. I must have had strong predestined relationships with them. I agreed. I worked hard to plan their meals in a restaurant and also bought two tickets to invite the restaurant owner to the show.

On the day of the show, things did not go well from the beginning. Some of the passengers argued with the bus driver about where they were to be picked up. When the bus moved on to pick up the next group, some of the passengers vomited while waiting for the bus. We had to delay our departure.

I enlightened that it was difficult to save a person in the final stages of the Fa-rectification. Master said, “Only those who can be awakened, who can realize which life path they should be taking hereafter, and who understand what people have come to this world for—only these kinds of people can truly be saved.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple” in Teaching the Fa at the Conference XI) I looked at the people on the bus and was happy for them.

After a while, I realized we weren’t making good time, and sometimes the bus even stopped. The driver heard on his radio that a tanker truck filled with chemicals had rolled over somewhere ahead of us. Only one lane was open, and we could only go a few miles per hour. Unfortunately, we had missed an exit that led to another highway.

I told myself that I must maintain a unwavering heart. I communicated the situation to the passengers and calmed them down. I also sent a message to our group to ask other practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts for us.

We had to change our meal arrangements as well. The restaurant owners immediately agreed. Our formal lunch was switched to dinner after the show, and we ate our dinner lunch boxes for lunch.

As soon as one problem was solved, another one popped up. We had been on the road a long time, and many people had to go to the restroom. But there was no restroom on the bus or nearby. Someone found a water bucket and a garbage bag. We got permission from the driver to use them with the condition that we dispose of the waste through the rear door. After those who needed to use them were done, nobody volunteered to clean up. The driver was unhappy. I told him not to worry and that I would take care of it.

One practitioner on the bus worried that we would be too late to see the show. She asked me if we should sell our tickets. I remembered Master's words: “Under trying circumstances of any type, you must all keep steady in thought. Just by staying unaffected you will be able to handle all situations.” (Teaching the Fa at the Conference in the Midwest-U.S.) I had one thought in my mind that everyone would see the show. This practitioner sold her ticket.

By the time we arrived, the hour-long journey had taken us five and a half hours. But we were able to see the second half of the show. The practitioner who had sold her ticket asked me if she could have my ticket. To be considerate of others, I gave it to her. I cleaned up the truck and waited outside.

Over a dozen of the passengers on our bus were interviewed by the media, including a calligrapher, an entrepreneur, and two professors. One of the professors told me that he thought the show was truly wonderful and that he had no regrets in his life now, although he saw only half of the show. The restaurant owner was also interviewed and she added more dishes for us. The bus driver was touched by how I took care of things on the bus. His attitude completely changed, and he told me that he would bring his family to the show next year.

Master told us,

“Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections.”(“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference” in Teaching the Fa at the Conference IV)

On the way back, I told them about Udumbara flowers and what other audience members had said about Shen Yun, even though my head hurt due to the stress. When I asked if anyone wanted to see the show next year, everyone answered, “Yes!” I was so touched and happy.

Even though we encountered difficulties, everything turned out fine. At least every passenger got to see half of the show. I felt that “Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun)

It was Master that led everyone into the show. Thank you, Master. I also would like to thank fellow practitioners for their help with their righteous thoughts.
