(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 20 were illegally arrested.

1. [Shanghai] Ms. Sun Baomei Detained

Ms. Sun Baomei was arrested at her home by Wang Haowei and officers from the Pudong Police Department and the 610 Office on March 2, 2017. The police ransacked the place and confiscated her Falun Gong books and approximately 600 yuan.

The officers took Ms. Sun to the Yangsi Police Station, and then transferred her to the Nanhui Detention Center. However, the detention center refused to accept her because of her poor health.

Ms. Sun was released on March 7.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gu Li Sentenced

Ms. Gu Li was fined 7,000 yuan and sentenced on May 19, 2017.

3. [Huimin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Shaoxiu Detained

Ms. Yuan Shaoxiu was arrested at her home by three officers from the Xindian Town Police Station on May 22, 2017. The police ransacked her home.

Ms. Yuan is being held at the Huimin County Detention Center.

4. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Aiyu Released Pending Trial

Ms. Wang Aiyu was seized by a man for talking to him about the persecution of Falun Gong on May 10, 2017. She was taken to a police station and released on bail pending trial.

5. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Zhifang's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Zhao Zhifang was arrested on June 1, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Chen Xianzhong Detained

Mr. Chen Xianzhong was arrested again on May 24, 2017. He was taken to the Nanming District Detention Center.

Mr. Chen, his wife, and nine other practitioners were arrested at Mr. Chen's home on January 8, 2017, when they were studying Falun Gong books together.

Mr. Chen and his wife were released on January 20, but were ordered to have photos taken daily at the local police station.

The police installed surveillance cameras in front of their home.

7. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Xia Detained

Ms. Liu Xia was arrested on May 25, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Xinyang No. 1 Detention Center.

8. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liang Wende Arrested

Ms. Liang Wende was arrested and taken to the Longquan Women's Prison.

9. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Xinfeng Arrested

Ms. Chen Xinfeng, 52, was arrested in the Longgang District of Shenzhen City on June 1, 2017.

10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Nine practitioners were arrested by officers from the Chaoyang Police Department and the Dongchaoyanglu Police Station at the northern campus of Jilin University on June 1, 2017, for doing the Falun Gong exercises.

Two female practitioners in their 70s were released that evening. Ms. Chen Yanhua, in her 50s, was taken to the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

The six other practitioners, all in their 60s, were given a physical examination and held at the police station overnight.

The six practitioners were taken to Weizigou the following day. Mr. Du Jingyi and his wife Ms. Cui Yuqiu were detained there for 15 days.

11. [Anguo City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhong Lijie Arrested

Mr. Zhong Lijie from Anguo City, Hebei Province, was arrested in Dulan County, Xining City, Qinghai Province, by local police on May 25 or 26, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Du and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Du, a lawyer, and his wife were arrested on June 1, 2017.

13. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Shengli Arrested

Mr. Ma Shengli was recently arrested for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. His home was ransacked.

14. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Lifang Arrested

Ms. Dong Lifang was arrested by officers from the Shouguang City Domestic Security Division and the Tianma Police Station. Her home was ransacked, and her Falun Gong books, DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

Ms. Dong was taken to the Weifang Detention Center

15. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lei Xin Arrested

Mr. Lei Xin was arrested and taken to the Linyi City Brainwashing Center by officers from the Mengshan 610 Office and the Linyi City 610 Office on May 19, 2017.
