(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 were illegally arrested.

1. [Keshan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Wen and Ms. Li Guixiang Sentenced

Mr. Wang Wen and his wife, Ms. Li Guixiang, were arrested by officers from the Dongbeijie Police Station in Keshan County on November 23, 2015. They were both sentenced to four years in prison.

Mr. Wang is being held at the Beian Prison, and his wife is at the Qiqihar Prison.

2. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zeng Liuming's Sentence Upheld

Mr. Zeng Liuming's three-year prison sentence was upheld by the Heyuan Intermediate Court on June 9, 2017.

3. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Xu Lian and Ms. Liu Hua Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Xu Lian and Ms. Liu Hua were sentenced to prison in the Li County Court on June 30, 2017.

Ms. Xu was given a 15-month prison term. Ms. Liu was sentenced to 14 months.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Lang Dongyue Detained

Ms. Lang Dongyue is being held at the Changping Detention Center in Beijing.

5. [Zhenyuan County, Gansu Province] Mr. Cao Ming Imprisoned

Mr. Cao Ming was arrested by officers from the Zhengning County Police Department for distributing calendars with information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them.

He was sentenced to a four-year prison term in the Zhengning County Court. Mr. Cao appealed to the Qingyang City Intermediate Court.

His sentence was upheld in May 2017, and he was taken to Tianshui Prison in Gansu Province.

6. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Hu Deyuan Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Hu Deyuan was arrested by officers from the Yuehu District Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office on March 8, 2017. He was tried in the Yuehu District Court on June 7, 2017, and sentenced to more than three years in prison on June 14.

7. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Yuesen Arrested

Mr. Chen Yuesen, in his 70s, was arrested in early June 2017 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Chen is a retired teacher from Youyang County.

8. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tian Mingxia and Ms. Song Jiaofa Detained

Ms. Tian Mingxia and Ms. Song Jiaofa were arrested by officers from the Jiapigou Town Police Station and Huadian City Domestic Security Division on June 29, 2017. They are being detained.

9. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Heqiong Arrested

Ms. Chen Heqiong was arrested on July 2, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

10. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Ms. Liu Yan Arrested

Ms. Liu Yan was arrested at her home by Daxin Police Station officers on July 1, 2017. They confiscated informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

11. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Lanai Detained

Ms. Li Lanai was arrested by officers from the Quanzhuang Police Station on July 1, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Yishui Detention Center.

12. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Niu Jinhua and Her Daughter Detained

Ms. Niu Jinhua was arrested by officers from the Lianyungang City Domestic Security Division, 610 Office, and the local police station on June 20, 2017. She is being held in the Nancheng Detention Center.

Ms. Niu's daughter was also arrested and taken to the same detention center.

13. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Yuling was arrested on June 28, 2017, and is being held in the Chaoyang Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Shuling, in her 70s, and her husband, Mr. Jin Jianming, were arrested by Dayingzi Police Station officers on July 1, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

The couple is being held at the Chaoyang City Detention Center.

14. [Xifeng County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Guoquan Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Yang Guoquan was sentenced to three years and three months in prison in the Kaiyuan Court.

15. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Shude Detained

Mr. Zhang Shude, in his 20s, was arrested on June 28, 2017, for producing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is being held in the Panjin Detention Center.
