(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 143 were illegally arrested.

1. [Yongshan County, Yunnan Province] Ms. Yan Lijia Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yan Lijia was arrested at her home by officers from the Yongshan County Police Department on April 27, 2016. The police confiscated computers, printers, supplies for electronic devices, Falun Gong books, and other personal items.

Ms. Yan was detained for more than a year before being sentenced to a two-year prison term in May 2017.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Jinlan and Ms. Liu Xueping Detained

Ms. Wang Jinlan and Ms. Liu Xueping were arrested at home by officers from the Yanqing Police Department on June 10, 2017, for making informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated computers, printers, and other personal items. They are still being detained.

3. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Shaofen Detained

Ms. Huang Shaofen was recently arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Liutang Police Station. The police confiscated printers, Falun Gong books, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Huang was held at the Baoan Detention Center for approximately one month.

4. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Yanhui Detained

Ms. Zhang Yanhui was detained for ten days.

5. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Jingqin Detained

Ms. Liu Jingqin, 63, was recently arrested by local police officers. After being forced to have a physical examination, she was taken to the Jiangdong Detention Center.

6. [Hunchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Zhaoyuan Detained

Mr. Sun Zhaoyuan was arrested on June 1, 2017, and is being held at a detention center.

7. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Ji Detained

Ms. Li Ji was arrested at the Dehui Railway Station on May 19, 2017. She is being held at the Dehui Detention Center.

8. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Su Jiming Detained

Mr. Su Jiming was arrested by officers from the Chengbei Police Station on June 13, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Su was held at the Shuangdong Detention Center for five days. While in detention he had his fingerprints and photograph taken, his blood withdrawn, and a physical exam, all against his will, and was forced to sign their paperwork.

9. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Shuzhen Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Liu Shuzhen was recently sentenced to a three-year prison term.

10. [Guyuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Caihong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Caihong, in her 30s, was recently arrested.

11. [Zibo City, Shandong Pronince] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Guo Guirong, Ms. Zhang Guihua, and Ms. Zheng Yurong were arrested at Ms. Guo's home by officers from the Zichuan District Domestic Security Division and the Songlinglu Police Station on May 13, 2017.

Ms. Zheng was taken to the Zichuan Detention Center, while Ms. Guo and Ms. Zhang were taken to Zibo City Detention Center.

Ms. Zheng was detained for five days. Ms. Guo was released around June 20. Ms. Zhang's arrest was later approved.

12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Minghong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Minghong was arrested on May 25, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released the next day.

13. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Li Detained

Mr. Zhang Li was arrested at home by officers from the Dashiling Town Police Station on June 22, 2017. The police ransacked his home and confiscated computers, a picture of Falun Gong's founder, Falun Gong books, and other personal items.

Mr. Zhang was handcuffed and taken to the police station. He was transferred to the Qinglong County Detention Detention that night.

14. [Anping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Lingxiao Detained

Ms. Li Lingxiao was arrested on June 22, 2017. She was taken to the Hengshui Detention Center, where she had a physical examination.

15. [Dengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Shaoying Detained

Ms. Zhang Shaoying, 50, is still being held at the Dengzhou City Detention Center.

16. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Guizhen Detained

Ms. Li Guizhen was arrested and taken to the Wenfeng Police Station on May 24, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at the Anyang City Detention Center for 12 days.

17. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Yuxia Arrested

Ms. Liu Yuxia was arrested and taken to the Baofeng County Detention Center on June 22, 2017. A dozen police officers ransacked her home that evening and confiscated approximately 50 Falun Gong books.

18. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Bing Jizhou Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Bing Jizhou, 50, was arrested and taken to a detention center around July or August 2016. He was sentenced to a five-and-a-half-year prison term in January or March 2017. His whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hu Huojian Severely Abused in Prison

Mr. Hu Huojian is in the Benxi City Prison. He has been in vegetative state due to severe abuse and mistreatment.
