(Minghui.org) Police in Shefang, Sichuan Province arrested four Falun Gong practitioners on September 14. The next day, many villagers and the village Communist Party Secretary protested the arrest and demanded the practitioners’ immediate release. By that afternoon, all four practitioners had been released.

The arrested practitioners were Xiao Jiying, Wang Jierong, Xu Yuanjie and Xu Yuanzhen. They were held in a police station in Yingfeng.

On the night of the arrest, nine police cars arrived in Yinfeng Town Qingyun Village under direct orders from commanders surnamed Wang and Ding of Yinfeng Police Station.

More than twenty officers went to each practitioner's home, where they forcibly took blood samples and confiscated their Falun Gong books.

During the arrests, the officers maintained electronic contact with a command center, which also showed the arrests of Falun Gong practitioners in other towns, including Majing and Yuquan.
