Ms. Zhang Yanhua of Kaoshan Town, Nong'an County, was arrested by officers from the Kaoshan Town Police Station on January 9, 2018.

4. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Yongquan Disappeared After Being Arrested

Mr. Li Yongquan disappeared after he was arrested on February 14, 2017.

Officers from the Liangzhou District Domestic Security Division jumped over the garden wall and broke into Mr. Zhang Guanghu's home on the morning of January 9, 2017. They ransacked the place and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong and informational materials about the spiritual belief.

6. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liao Danyin Arrested

Ms. Liao Danyin was arrested in Futian Custom and taken to the Fuqiang Police Station on the afternoon of January 8, 2018, after agents found two Falun Gong books on her during a random check.

Ms. Lin Baozhen was sentenced to one year in prison.

8. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hu Changping Detained

Ms. Hu Changping, 58, a practitioner in Mengyin County, was arrested on the evening of January 8, 2018. She was taken first to the Economic Development Zone Police Station, then transferred to the Mengyin County Detention Center.

9. [Akto County, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Mr. Song Zhigang Arrested

Mr. Song Zhigang from Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province, had been working in Xinjiang Autonomous Region when he was arrested by officers from the Akto County Police Department in October 2017. He has been formally arrested.

Ms. Huang Xiaofen was sentenced to three years in prison in the Beihu District Court.

11. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Yulian Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zhang Yulian was arrested on May 25, 2017, and tried in Huishan Court in Wuxi City on November 1, 2017. She was sentenced to nine months in prison on November 24, 2017.
