Saving My Childhood Friend
Several years ago when the persecution was happening in full force everywhere, I heard that one of my childhood friends was involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
My family was terrified that I wanted to clarify the truth to him. “He was so evil. What if he reports you?”
I thought that he was in a key position, so if nobody brings awareness of the persecution to him, he might commit even more sins and persecute more practitioners. I decided to visit his parents and then him.
When we caught up, we recalled the good old days. I told him Falun Gong is a great Buddha school teaching. It has spread to over 100 countries. I also told him about the cases of those who participated in the persecution and met with retribution.
He took out a letter that was written by a Falun Gong practitioner. He told me that he had a sense of fear while doing his job for a long time now. He promised me that he would no longer be involved in persecution. Later he made a solemn declaration that he and his whole family quit the CCP and its related organizations.
Our Power Comes from a Firm Belief in Dafa
My understanding in Master has already granted us all the power that comes from cultivation before the persecution began. As long as we have a firm belief in Dafa, we can overcome all tribulations.
I was once arrested and held in a police station. When the police were ready to interrogate me, I saw the words “Interrogation Report” on the computer screen. I thought: I am a Dafa practitioner, not a criminal. How can they interrogate me? I stood up and walked out. A policeman followed me and asked, “Where are you going?”
When I raised my right foot, I disappeared. When I came to, I was at a place two blocks away from the police station. Master “picked me up!” A practitioner asked me what was I thinking at the time. I said that I had thought of nothing—my mind was completely empty. I only thought that I was a Dafa practitioner and they should not interrogate me.
I heard about a practitioner who suffered a great deal in prison and when he came out, others asked him what was it like inside. He said, “I did not remember much suffering, I was happy.”
Over the course of twenty years of cultivation, Master has protected me and held my hand step by step. Whenever I came across difficulties and tribulations, the power of Fa would manifest itself to inspire and encourage me.
I firmly believe that the power of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance will help me overcome all difficulties, and I will follow Master to go back home.
I learned how to look within, how to accommodate others, and enjoy a simple and happy life. I am so fortunate and happy to have Master's grace shining upon me. I am deeply grateful. Thank you, Master, thank you Dafa!
