(Minghui.org) The 610 Office and Political and Legal Affairs Committee in Henan Province recently held a brainwashing session at Baling Communist Party School to target Falun Gong practitioners and force them to renounce their faith.

It has been confirmed that Mr. Dang Fuqiang and Ms. Lian Weihong were taken to the brainwashing session on October 16, 2018 and held there for one day.

Both practitioners are government employees. Mr. Dang is an official at the Yuzhou City Labor Bureau and Ms. Lian is the chief of finance at the Urban Administration Bureau of Yuzhou City.

Prior to the recent brainwashing session, both of them have been targeted for practicing Falun Gong in past years.

Mr. Dang was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing DVDs of Shen Yun Performing Arts in March 2014 and served his term at Xinmi Prison in Henan Province.

Ms. Lian was detained for one and a half months in November 2015 for filing a criminal complaint against former communist regime leader Jiang Zemin who ordered the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999.
