(Minghui.org) In the process of talking to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution, I realized that many of them still do not understand the basic facts, such as the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident staged by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The self-immolation hoax became a “knot” that prevented them from accepting the facts and caused them to hate or misunderstand Dafa.
Debunking the Self-Immolation Hoax
Every Chinese citizen knows about The Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident because it was broadcast around the clock by CCP media. As such, it is important to help people understand the facts about it and how evil the Party is.
I usually tell people about the self-immolation incident before telling them the facts of Dafa. One woman kept repeating the Party's propaganda at the beginning of our conversation. After hearing what I had to say, she then listened without interrupting me.
Another time, I was talking to a policeman on the phone. After he listened to the facts, he acknowledged that the CCP had lied about the incident to incite public hatred against Falun Dafa practitioners.
I have also shown the video False Fire on my laptop to my colleagues during lunch breaks. The effect was very good.
Letting people know about the self-immolation incident is good for them. It will help them discern truth from lies when they interact with their relatives and friends who do not know the facts.
If we only talk from a high level and do not explain this basic truth, they may get confused if someone brings up the self-immolation incident.
