1. [Chongqing] Ms. Miao Jianhua Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Miao Jianhua was tried by the Jiangbei District Court on December 12, 2018. She was sentenced to seven years and two months in prison, and fined 10,000 yuan. Her family has asked to file an appeal.

2. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hou Shuangquan Detained

Mr. Hou Shuangquan was arrested by officers from the Caochi Police Station on November 5, 2018, when he was talking to people about Falun Gong. He was detained for 14 days.

3. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Huaying Arrested

Ms. Li Huaying was arrested by officers from the Dongmaoling Police Station in the Yueyanglou District on December 11, 2018, when talking to people about Falun Gong.

4. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiumin and Her Husband Mr. Feng Shangwei Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiumin and her husband Mr. Feng Shangwei were recently arrested. They are being held in the Rencheng District Detention Center.

5. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhao Wannian and Ms. An Chunyun Arrested

Mr. Zhao Wannian from Gulin Street and Ms. An Chunyun from Banchang Street in Taiping Town, Binhai New Area, were arrested on December 12, 2018. Their Falun Dafa books, cell phones, and computers were confiscated.

6. [Arxan City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li Yaqin, Ms. Fu Zhixia, Ms. Wang Xiaomin, and Mr. Sun Hongwei were arrested on December 12, 2018. They were to be detained for 15 days.

7. [Dayi County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zuo Guocheng Detained

Mr. Zuo Guocheng from Jinyuan Town was arrested by officers from the Jinyuan Police Station on the morning of September 13, 2018. He was taken to a detention center.
