1. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Hu Xuefan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Hu Xuefan from Liuwang Village, Caishan Town, Huangmei County, was arrested by officers from the Xinkai Town Police Station on March 1, 2018 for telling people about Falun Gong. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books. He was taken to the Huanggang Brainwashing Center.

2. [Shanghai] Mr. Xu Yongqing's Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Mr. Xu Yongqing's case was turned over to the Hanjiang District Procuratorate, in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, on March 5, 2018.

3. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhao Lanfang Detained

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Lanfang from Liutuan Town, Pudong New Area, was arrested by plainclothes officers on the afternoon of March 6, 2018 for telling people about Falun Gong. About eight officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, informational materials, and five cell phones. She was taken to the Pudong New Area No. 1 Detention Center that evening and has not yet been released.

4. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Three practitioners in Anyue County were sentenced to home detention in late 2017. Ms. Chen Zufang was sentenced to three years of home detention, and fined 3,000 yuan. Ms. Huang Disu was sentenced to two years of home detention, and fined 2,000 yuan. Mr. Tang Chaoxun was sentenced to one year of home detention, and fined 1,000 yuan.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Guixia Placed Under Administrative Detention

Ms. Wang Guixia was arrested at her workplace on the afternoon of March 7, 2018. She was placed under administrative detention and held in the Wuhan Detention Center.

6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yanru and Ms. Zhao Lanchi Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Wang Yanru and Ms. Zhao Lanchi from Qingyuan District were arrested by Liu Wenxing, director of the Shiqiao Township Police Station, along with other officers, on January 3, 2018, for telling people about Falun Gong in Shenzhuang Village. They were taken to the Baoding City Detention Center that evening. Their electric car was confiscated. Their family received a notification that both practitioners were officially placed under arrest.

7. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zheng Xufei Sentenced to a Four-year Prison Term

Mr. Zheng Xufei from Rushan City was arrested in July 2017 for telling people about Falun Gong. He was sentenced to a four year prison term by the Rushan City Court. He has appealed to the Weihai City Intermediate Court.

8. [Liuhe County, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Jinying's Home Ransacked

Three officers from the Jianshe Police Station broke into Ms. Li Jinying's home on the morning of February 27, 2018 and ransacked it without showing any identification. The officers did not find what they were looking for. They ordered Ms. Li not to leave her home before they left.

9. [Shanghai] Ms. Cao Lanfang Detained

Practitioner Ms. Cao Lanfang from Chuansha Town, Pudong New Area, was arrested by officers from the Chuansha Police Station on the afternoon of March 6, 2018, for telling people about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Nanhui Detention Center.

Ms. Shao Xiujie, in her fifties, was arrested by officers from the Changchun City Police Department on the evening of March 7, 2018. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated her cell phone.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Leng Fengling Detained

Practitioner Ms. Leng Fengling was placed under criminal detention and taken to the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

12. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Mr. Mao Yuankun Arrested

Mr. Mao Yuankun from Gong'an County was arrested by officers from the 110 Response Unit on the afternoon of March 8, 2018 for telling people about Falun Gong. He was taken to the Douhudi Town Police Station. Three people, including Xiang Xiaoyang from the local 610 Office, ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books.

13. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Luan Donghua Arrested

Mr. Luan Donghua, in his fifties, from Chengbei District, was arrested at home by officers from the Zhaoyuan City Domestic Security Division on March 7, 2018. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books and 20,000 yuan in cash.

14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Shuxia Harassed and Her Sister Arrested

Three plainclothes officers who claimed that they were from the Gucheng Police Station deceived Ms. Ma Shuxia into opening the door on the morning of March 6, 2018. They forced their way into her home and told her to go to the police station. Ms. Ma refused to go. She appeared to have a heart attack during the confrontation. She laid on a sofa. At that time, Ms. Ma's younger sister came in, she was arrested as the officers found out that she practices Falun Gong.
