(Minghui.org) A few days ago I had the chance to pass out Minghui Weekly booklets to many people while visiting my hospitalized father and my niece's newborn baby. The Minghui Weekly booklets are very well-made and elegant and people really like them.
I visited my father in the hospital in the morning, and I carried a large bag of these Falun Dafa booklets and entered the hospital lobby. The nearby elevator was so crowded that I went to another elevator.
As soon as I got on the elevator, a group of people rushed in from the lobby. I thought to myself that they might all be coming to learn the truth about Falun Dafa.
The elevator became quiet after the door closed. I immediately took out two Minghui Weekly booklets and gave them to a lady standing near the elevator door and asked her to read them.
I told her that they would help and protect her, and she accepted them with a smile. I then handed the rest of the booklets to every person in the elevator.
The booklets' elegant and shiny covers glowed under the elevator light. When I handed one of them to a 60-year-old woman in the corner, she said that it was what she had been looking for.
She had a smile on her face and seemed like she had been waiting a long time to learn the truth about Falun Dafa. I also told her to let her family read it as well.
I then told her about the persecution of Dafa, and she gladly agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
People started to get out of the elevator, but I missed my floor while passing out the booklets. I needed to go to the 12th floor but got off on the 14th floor.
I didn't want to wait for the next elevator down and just used the stairs. However, since I was not familiar with the hospital's layout, I got lost.
I saw a lady standing in front of a locked door, and she asked me whether I had the key card and I said no. She opened the door for me to let me in.
I thanked her for her kindness and handed her a booklet. She thanked me and started to read it.
After I visited my father, I went to the celebration of my niece's newborn baby. I saw that my niece's father-in-law had waited outside the restaurant.
He came over and welcomed us very warmly. I used this opportunity to give him a few booklets.
I said, “I have wanted to visit you for a long time and now we finally have the chance to meet.”
Since I felt he would become very busy tending to the guests soon, I started to tell him the truth about Falun Dafa. After listening, he gladly agreed to quit the CCP.
After we sat at the table, the full room of people all gathered together. I immediately saw my cousin who I had not seen for over 20 years.
I said hello to everyone and sat next to her. I gave a few booklets to her and asked her to read them back home. She smiled and accepted them.
Then I asked her whether she had ever joined the CCP or its affiliated organizations. She said she had joined the Young Pioneers and Youth League when she was younger.
After hearing this, I began to tell her how the CCP and Jiang Zemin's regime who initiated the persecution of Falun Dafa had fabricated the Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation.
I also advised her to quit the CCP in order to stay safe when heaven starts to eliminate it. She immediately agreed.
I also told her to recite “Falun Dafa is good” to keep safe when danger may happen in the future. She said, “I will remember. Thank you cousin.”
I said, “Please thank our Master.”
After the celebration, we went to my niece's home to visit the newborn baby. My sister chatted with my sister-in-law's brother and brought him to me.
She said: “He already quit the Young Pioneers and Youth League.”
He solemnly wrote down his name in my record of people quitting the CCP, and he also accepted a few Minghui Weekly booklets.
It was really a very joyful day. A lot of people understood the truth and learned about Falun Dafa. I truly appreciate the practitioners who designed and made the truth-clarifying materials.
I remembered once I went to a large shopping mall and an older couple let me pass by first. I thanked them and gave the woman a Falun Dafa booklet, and she accepted it happily.
Her husband said that they would read it while going back home.
Every time I heard this, I truly felt that the Dafa booklets were very important. It is very precious to the people and can truly help them!
I also deeply feel the great responsibility of Falun Dafa practitioners during the Fa-Rectification period. It is as Master Li taught us,
“I hope everyone will do better and better at the end. Be sure not to become lax. You must not slack off, and you must not become apathetic.” (Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles)
