(Minghui.org) “The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren, (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) International Exhibition” was displayed in Dobrich, Bulgaria on April 17-27, 2018 to a tremendous public reception. Two extra days were added to the exhibition due to high demand. Dobrich was the second city to host the exhibition and its third Bulgaria location after being displayed at “Dvoretza” and the City Gallery in Balchik.
“The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren” was hosted by the University of Management in Dobrich. This allowed many international and culturally diverse college students and professors to enjoy the artworks. “A real fairy tale about our reality, told through the means of fine art,” described Mrs. Yurchenko, whose collaboration helped put the exhibition together. The exhibition drew the attention of many public figures, artists, and citizens.
Mr. Ivo Penchev, head of the Municipal City Council of Dobrich, hosted the opening ceremony. Mr. Sivkov, a former diplomat and Eastern culture expert, spoke at the ceremony as well. He shared excerpts from the biography of Professor Kunlun Zhang, who is the exhibit’s creator, and who as a Falun Gong practitioner was persecuted by the Chinese communist regime. Mr. Sivkov recalled events from the year 1990 when he visited Tiananmen Square with his family. Arriving at the world’s largest square, he found it dark and cold, perhaps due to the one-year anniversary since the tragic events which took place there on July 4, 1989.
Many visitors to the exhibition expressed their feelings about the artworks in the guestbook:
MD Draganov wrote that he was anticipating “The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren” with a great deal of interest and curiosity. Immersing himself in fine art, he sensed the spiritual peace of the East, the beauty, relaxation, and harmony. The emotions, caused by the exhibition were pleasant, but he was also disturbed by the inhuman treatment and persecution of the spiritual people in China. MD Draganov expressed his admiration for the human spirit’s ability to face and resist the evil forces, and to elevate.
Elina Yurcheno wrote, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, streams from their hearts and souls, for their struggle with the lies, evil, and brutality. It's a real fairy tale about our reality, told through the means of fine art which is what the exhibition is, and more – Life Energy!
