(Minghui.org) Nearly 1000 Falun Gong practitioners gathered at Toronto City Hall Square on May 12, 2018. They held a group practice, a parade and art performances to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Several elected officials and supporters spoke at the rally.

Chairman Majed El Shafie of One Free World International said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would never be successful in destroying practitioners' belief, even though the CCP conducts a brutal persecution including state-sanctioned live organ harvesting.
Sheng Xue, Vice Chairman of the International PEN Writer's Peace Committee and Vice Chairman of the Democratic Frontier, said, “Falun Gong practitioners have done miraculous things since the persecution started 19 years ago. It will be seen as the greatest protest in modern history.”
