(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 41 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Liu Yufeng and Ms. Liu Miyi, from the West Coast New District, were tried in the Pudong Detention Center, Jimo District, on the morning of April 11, 2018. The court has yet to announce the verdict.

2. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiurong Arrested

Ms. Liu Xiurong was recently arrested.

3. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Aihua Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Liu Aihua was arrested by Sun Weihong, the deputy head of the Shuangqing District Domestic Security Division, along with other officers, on August 29, 2017. He was held in the Yangjialong Detention Center.

Mr. Liu was tried by the Shuangqing District Court on February 28, 2018, and was sentenced to a three-year prison term. His family has appealed the sentence.

4. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Lanzhi Detained

Ms. Zhang Lanzhi from Xingyang City was recently arrested while she was talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Zhang is being held in the Xingyang Detention Center.

5. [Dongxing City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Mr. Peng Shuming Taken to Prison

Mr. Peng Shuming was arrested by officers from the Dongxing City Police Department in August 2016. He was sentenced to a three-year prison term in June 2017, and was incarcerated in December.

6. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Hairong Arrested

Ms. Wang Hairong from the Dongli District was arrested while she was talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of April 16, 2018.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Wei Detained

Ms. Chen Wei from the East Lake High-tech Development Zone was arrested by officers from the Wuhan City Police Department and Domestic Security Division on the evening of April 9, 2018. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Dafa books and cell phone were confiscated.

Ms. Chen was taken to the Erzhigou Women's Detention Center in the Dongxihu District.

8. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jin Aimei and Ms. Liu Shuqin Arrested

Ms. Jin Aimei and Ms. Liu Shuqin, from Zhaogou Village, Songlou Township, Xiajin County, were arrested recently by officers from the Shuangmiao Police Station, while they were talking to people about Falun Gong at the Shuangmiao Town Farmers' Market.

Ms. Liu has since returned home, while Ms. Jin was taken to the Dezhou City Detention Center.

9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Dong, Ms. Wang Guibo, Ms. Dai Yaoqi, and Ms. Wang Lanxiang were arrested by officers from the Nanshan Police Station, Jiuta City, on the morning of April 16, 2018, while they were studying the Falun Gong teachings together.

The four practitioners were released later that day.

10. [Chongqing] Mr. Dan Jinsong Detained

Mr. Dan Jinsong, 50, was arrested by officers from the Shangquan Police Station on the afternoon of April 6, 2018, while he was distributing Falun Gong materials on Jiangbei Walking Street. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, printed materials, DVDs, and a computer.

Mr. Dan is being held in the Fusheng Detention Center, in Jiangbei District.

11. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Sun Guangrong Tried

Mr. Sun Guangrong from the Bagongshan District was prosecuted by the head of the Accusations and Petitions Section of the local Procuratorate Xie Tianci. He was tried on March 20, 2018.

Mr. Sun submitted an appeal letter to the local court and Procuratorate. The Bagongshan District Court accepted Mr. Sun's letter, but the Procuratorate has twice refused to accept it.

Mr. Sun will be tried in the Bagongshan Court again on April 20, 2018.

12. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhou Yanling Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhou Yanling, 50, was arrested on April 16, 2018. He was taken to a brainwashing center.

13. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Li Detained

Ms. Ma Li accompanied her child to Beijing to take an exam on the morning of April 14, 2018. She was arrested at the Langfang to Beijing Highway checkpoint by officers from the Langfang City Police Department, when applying for a vehicle pass to enter Beijing.

Ms. Ma was brought back to her hometown and taken to the Langfang Detention Center by officers from the Anci District Domestic Security Division.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Thirteen Practitioners' Cases Turned Over to Court

Officers from the Yilan County Police Department arrested 29 practitioners on August 31, 2017. Of those arrested, the female practitioners were taken to the Harbin City Detention Center, and male practitioners were taken to the Yilan County Detention Center.

Thirteen practitioners remain in custody, and their cases have been handed over to the Yilan County Court. The other 16 practitioners were released.

The 29 practitioners include Mr. Li You, Ms. Liu Yumin, Ms. Xia Guihua, Ms. Wang Yunjie, Ms. Wu Yuqin, Ms. Deng Shumei, Ms. Bo Baoling, Ms. Song Konghua, Ms. Kang Yanling, Mr. Chen Jizhong, Mr. Li Chunlin, Ms. Qu Yanling, Mr. Tian Hongwei, Mr. Tian Xiaolong, Ms. Zhang Jiuhui, Mr. Shi Rongxian, Ms. Yao Yulian, Mr. Tang Lifei, Mr. Zhou Yan, Ms. Shi Fengxiang, Ms. Zhao Guiqin, Ms. Pang Shuxian, Ms. Yu Fenglan, Ms. Jiang Guifen, Ms. Li Guifang, Ms. Meng Lichun, Ms. Wu Yingqiu, Ms. Zhang Yinghua, and Ms. Shi Fenglan.
