Officials Learn the Facts about the Persecution Through Practitioners Filing Criminal Complaints against Jiang Zemin

June 7, 2018 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shaanxi Province, China

(Minghui.org) Over 200,000 people in China have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), for initiating the persecution of Falun Gong. These complaints have been sent to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

Since then, Falun Gong practitioners have continued to be harassed, arrested and sentenced after they filed their complaints.

Police officers went to a practitioner's home one day because she filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin. They asked her to sign a guarantee statement to renounce her belief in Falun Gong, but she refused. They then asked her husband to sign it, but he also refused.

One of the policewomen then said that if she didn't sign it, more people from the 610 Office and domestic security division would come to her house.

A few minutes later, more officers arrived. One of them took out a letter and asked the practitioner if she had tried to sue Jiang Zemin.

“Yes,” she replied. “My letter also details my experience before and after I started cultivation.”

A woman from the 610 Office took the letter and started to read it.

“Why do you want to sue Jiang Zemin?” A male officer then asked.

The practitioner told him about the positive changes she had experienced in mind and body after practicing, and how she improved her moral standards. She also told him about the staged self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square, and how practitioners have been severely persecuted for persisting in their belief.

She told the officers that the reason she filed the complaint was to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

An officer said, “It's illegal to sue Jiang Zemin, as he was the president of the country. If you insist on trying to sue him, you'll end up in prison.”

“There is an ancient saying,” the practitioner replied. “If a prince violates the law, he must be punished like an ordinary person. Jiang Zemin launched a brutal persecution affecting millions of practitioners. It is my right to bring him to justice.”

Just then, the woman from the 610 Office finished reading the letter. She said, “This is well written.” She then asked the practitioner to sign the guarantee statement again, which the practitioner refused to do.

Suddenly, all of them stood and answered their phones. It seemed that something happened and they needed to go.

After the other officers left, a female officer came back and clasped the practitioner’s hands. She said, “It doesn't matter whether you sign it or not. I will sort out everything for you when I get back to the station. I really admire you from the bottom of my heart!”
