(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 were illegally arrested.

1. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Du Maoyong's Home Ransacked

Residential personnel led director Deng of the Suining Economic Development Zone Police Station to break into Mr. Du Maoyong's home on the morning of June 8, 2018. They ransacked the place and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, an MP3 player, and other personal belongings.

2. [Changyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Qi Naihua Detained

Mr. Qi Naihua was arrested by officers from the Changyi City Domestic Security Division on April 24, 2018. His home was ransacked.

Mr. Qi was held in the Weifang Detention Center for over 40 days. His case was turned over to the Procuratorate.

3. [Jurong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jing Peixia's Home Ransacked

Zhou Jingwan, political head of the Jurong City Domestic Security Division, led officers from the Xiashu Police Station to Ms. Jing Peixia's home and ransacked it on June 12, 2018. They confiscated her Falun Dafa books.

Ms. Jing is in her 60s.

4. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Xiujuan and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Li Xiujuan and her husband, who is not a practitioner, were arrested at their home by five or six police officers on the morning of June 13, 2018. The place was ransacked.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tong Julan Detained

Ms. Tong Julan was taken to the Wuhan City No. 1 Women's Detention Center.

6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xiuzhi, her husband Mr. Chuntang, and another practitioner with the last name Zhang, from Jianqiao Village in the Luocheng Neighborhood, were arrested on the evening of June 5, 2018.

Ms. Wang Jinhua from the same village was arrested the following morning.

Zhang was later released. Ms. Xiuzhi and Ms. Wang were taken to the Weifang Detention Center, while Mr. Chuntang was taken to the Shouguang Detention Center.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms Li Hezhen Arrested

Ms. Li Hezhen, who is in her 70s and lives alone, has been missing since early June of this year. After much inquiry, it was learned that she had been arrested and her home was ransacked. Her whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Yunxia and Ms. Ru Gai Arrested

Ms. Guo Yunxia and Ms. Rui Gai were arrested at home in Xiwei Village, Dongzhao Township, by Jing Renli, a local villager, and 12 police officers led by Zhang Mengkan from the Domestic Security Division on the evening of May 3, 2018.

Both practitioners were taken to the Dongzhao Police Station and then to the Guangzong County Police Department. They were released two days later. Ms. Guo was forced to pay 5,000 yuan.

9. [Pujiang County, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Homes Ransacked. Three of the Practitioners Arrested

Twelve people climbed over the wall around Ms. Yang Guirong's home on the afternoon of June 12, 2018. They broke in and arrested her and her husband and confiscated their son's computer.

The officers also arrested Ms. Wu Luying and ransacked her home. They then ransacked Ms. Li Jinru's home at around 5 p.m. that evening.

10. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Gao Sulan Placed In Criminal Detention

When Ms. Gao Sulan from Guangling County went to the community administration office on the morning of June 12, 2018, she was arrested and taken to the Guangling County Police Department by officers from the Guangling Criminal Police Team.

Ms. Gao was taken to Datong City the following day and placed in criminal detention.

11. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Bai Yun Arrested

Ms. Bai Yun was recently arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sumian Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Wang Sumian, 67, from the Guanhaiyuan Residential Community in the Lushun Development Zone, was arrested by Wang Yi, deputy director of the Shushiying Police Station, and other officers for sending a Falun Gong truth clarification printout to the police station director.

Ms. Wang was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center on May 9, 2018, and was officially placed under arrest by the Lushun Procuratorate.

13. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Baoyu Detained

Ms. Wang Baoyu was arrested by officers from the Lianyungang City Domestic Security Division on June 5, 2018. She is being held in the Nancheng Detention Center.

14. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Jingmin Detained

Ms. Li Jingmin was reported to the authorities on June 11, 2018, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was arrested and is being held in the Nankai Detention Center.

15. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Jingxuan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Jingxuan was arrested on June 11, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

16. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Ping and Ms. Sun Yumin Detained

Ms. Lu Ping, in her 60s, and Ms. Sun Yumin, 73, from the Wazhouhoushan area, were reported to the authorities for distributing Falun Gong materials near the Wafangdian Street Park on the morning of June 11, 2018. They were arrested by officers from the Gongji Police Station that afternoon.

Ms. Lu and Ms. Sun were held in the Dalian Anti-drug Brigade Detention Center for ten days.

17. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Three Practitioners Taken to Prison

Mr. Yang Xuegui, Mr. Zhou Wei, and Mr. Li Fubin were transferred from the Xiguoyuan Detention Center to Lanzhou Prison on the afternoon of June 12, 2018.
