(Minghui.org) July 20 marks the 19th year of the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime. Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a march and a rally last Saturday in Dublin, calling upon the public to help stop the human rights crisis in China.
Prime Minister Leo Varadkar and several legislators wrote letters in support of the rally.
Senator David Norris strongly condemned the state-sanctioned harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners in China and encouraged practitioners to continue their effort to counter the persecution.
Mary Lou McDonald, the president of the Sinn Féin political party (left), Member of Parliament Sean Crowe (middle), and Member of Parliament Gerry Adams (right) wrote in their letters that the Sinn Féin has been fighting for the freedom of Falun Gong and that they condemned forced organ harvesting in China.
Member of Parliament Bobby Aylward sent his greetings to the rally.
Before and after the march, practitioners set up a booth in downtown Dublin to raise awareness of the persecution and collect signatures.
