(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 24 were illegally arrested.

Ms. He Cuiping was arrested by officers from the Zhabeilu Police Station in the Qingjiangpu District on the evening of July 24, 2018. Her whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Nearly Twenty Practitioners Arrested

Nearly 20 practitioners, including Mr. Bao Weidong and Mr. Liu Lianhui were arrested on July 20, 2018.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Xiaoxiong Detained

Mr. Liu Xiaoxiong was arrested by officers from the Qixianling Police Station in the Hi-tech Zone on July 25, 2018. His home was ransacked.

Mr. Liu was taken to a detention center.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Shuwei Arrested

Officers from the Jiutai City Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Wang Shuwei's home in Shanghewan Town on July 26, 2018. They ransacked the place and confiscated a printer, computer, and Falun Dafa books.

Mr. Wang was taken to the Jiutai Police Department. He was released later that evening after failing the physical exam.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Qiusha and Her Husband Mr. Wei Xuejun Detained

Ms. Zhang Qiusha and her husband Mr. Wei Xuejun from the Daxing District were arrested. They were taken to the Daxing Detention Center.

Mr. Wei was released on July 27, 2018.

6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cao Xiuqing Detained

Ms. Cao Xiuqin from Gaobeidian City was recently arrested by officers from the Hepinglu Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Gaobeidian Detention Center.
