10. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Shujing and Other Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Yuangezhuang Police Station and Domestic Security Division jumped over the wall around the home of Mr. Liu in the Laishan District and broke in on the morning of August 28, 2018. They ransacked the place and confiscated his Falun Gong books and over 500 yuan in cash.

The officers then went to the home of Mr. Liu's son and arrested her son Mr. Liu Shujing and daughter-in-law Ms. Yu Meiqing. They ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, and over 1,000 yuan.

Ms. Yu was released after having 5,000 yuan extorted from her; Mr. Liu was taken to the Fushan Detention Center.

Ms. Zheng, 73, was also arrested that day. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and three printers.

Mr. Lu Maichang was arrested at home by officers from the Domestic Security Division on the morning of August 30, 2018. The officers confiscated his Falun Gong books.

11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhai Shilan Detained

Ms. Zhai Shilan from Yuangezhuang Town in the Muping District was recently arrested. She was taken to the Dongting Detention Center in the Fushan District.
