1. [Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Additional News About Ms. Li Shufang and Ms. Li Guiying, and Ms. Jia Pizhen

Ms. Li Shufang and Ms. Li Guiying, both from Huaian County, Ms. Jia Pizhen, from Xinping Town, Tianzhen County, Shanxi Province, were arrested on December 31, 2017. They were taken to the Ulanqab City Detention Center. The Xinghe County Court sentenced Ms. Li Shufang to two years in prison, Ms. Li Guiying one year, and Ms. Jia one-and-a-half year in July 2018. Their appeals were submitted to the No. 1 Criminal Court in Ulanqab City Intermediate Court.

Ms. Ma Fengqin was arrested in Zizhuyuan Park in August 2017. She was taken to the Haidian Detention Center. The Haidian District Court tried her case in the Shanhou Court on the morning of September 12, 2018.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Ancheng Facing Trial

Mr. Xu Ancheng was arrested on July 4, 2018. He was detained for 10 days, then transferred to the Jilin City Detention Center. The Changyi District Court scheduled a trial in September, and considers a sentence of three-and-a-half-years to four-and-a-half-years in prison, and a 10,000 yuan fine.

Mr. He Junpeng of Longtan District was arrested by officers from the Shanqian Police Station on the afternoon of September 1, 2018. He was taken to a detention center and released the same day.

Mr. Li Lianren of Longtan District was arrested by officers from the Xin'an Police Station on the evening of August 1, 2018. He was detained for five days in the Jilin City Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Wenjun was arrested by officers from the Longhua Police Station in Longtan District on the morning of September 2, 2018.

5. [Fuyu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xiuzhi Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiuzhi was arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on the afternoon of September 1, 2018. Officers ransacked her home, and confiscated her Falun Gong books, as well as other items.

6. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Luo Guiru Facing Second Trial

Ms. Luo Guiru was tried for a second time on September 7, 2018.

7. [Wuzhong City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Mr. Song Laiping Detained

Mr. Song Laiping of Yanchi County was arrested by officers from the Yanchi County Domestic Security Division on August 21, 2018, and taken to the Qingtongxia Detention Center.

8. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Zengjun Arrested

Ms. Li Zengjun, 70, was arrested by officers from the Jianqiao Police Station on August 26, 2018. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other items.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Jingqiu's Appeal Denied

Qingdao City Intermediate Court affirmed four years of a prison sentence against Ms. Yan Jingqiu on August 15, 2018.

Mr. Li Youwu was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Yushui District Court on July 6, 2018.

Ms. Mei Zhen was taken to the Jinyun County Brainwashing Center on August 23, 2018.

Ms. Qian Yinfang, employee of the Haiyan County Nuclear Power Cooperation, was arrested at home by officers from the Tongxiang Police Department on September 2, 2018.

13. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Xizhong Died Due to the Persecution

Ms. Li Xizhong, around 70, was arrested by Wu Jianping, security guard at the Xiangtan University for distributing Falun Gong informational materials in the Xiangtan University area on May 25, 2015. She was released on bail on September 18, 2015. The Yuhu District Court sentenced her to three years in prison in February 2016. She was tortured in prison. It was recently learned that Ms. Li died in the hospital at the end of August 2018.

Mr. Li Yuanyou was arrested by a plainclothes officer for handing the officer a Falun Gong brochure on September 2, 2018. He was taken to the Xingguanlu Police Station. His home was ransacked. He was taken to the Nanming District Detention Center.

15. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Mou Yanping Arrested

Ms. Mou Yanping of Bayuquan District, 64, was arrested at home on the morning of August 23, 2018. Officers confiscated the picture of Falun Gong's teacher, Falun Gong books, 14,000 yuan, two DVD players, and other items.

16. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yuqin Detained

Ms. Zhao Yuqin was arrested for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong near the Jinzhou Railroad Station on September 1, 2018. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Jinzhou City Women's Detention Center.

17. [Chongqing] Ms. Jiang Yourong Arrested

Ms. Jiang Yourong was arrested on August 14, 2018.

18. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Furong Detained

Ms. Zhu Furong was arrested by officers from the Guangming Police Station for distributing Falun Gong brochures on the evening of August 27, 2018. She was taken to the Hegang City Detention Center.
