(Minghui.org) Master said, “With a shared purpose you came to the world” (“Fulfilling Wish” from Hong Yin)
The compassion we as practitioners have for each other should give us courage and help so that we can be more diligent in our cultivation and do the three things well. While sharing with another practitioner, Bei, lately, I enlightened to this understanding.
The family of another practitioner, Miao, was persecuted in recent years. She experienced financial hardship because her workplace only gave her a few hundred yuan every month. She and her children were in a very difficult situation. She was close to Bei, and they often shared with each other about their cultivation. Bei helped her to look inside and find her attachments.
We helped compile the contact information of the officials who participated in persecuting Miao and mailed them letters with information about Dafa. But her situation did not improve. She also talked to the officials where she worked. However, the problem was not resolved.
One day, Bei shared with me and said, “Miao is under such severe financial persecution. She and I are one. I also have strong attachments to personal interest. I should looked inward.” When I heard that, I also looked at myself and said, “We are all one. I should look within too. I also have strong attachments to personal interest.”
Shortly after we talked, Bei told me that Miao had resolved the issue with her salary. I was really happy. This really shows that “Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun)
When we helped other practitioners undergoing tribulations, we sometimes felt that our sharings were great and what we enlightened to was high-level. However, were they truly the insights given by Dafa and Master?
Everything we are and everything we have is bestowed upon us by Master and Dafa. We should do things according to Dafa's requirements. As Master said, “encourage each other, and progress together with diligence.” (“To the Second Dafa Conference in Russia” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
