(Minghui.org) Ms. Fu Jinghua, a Falun Gong practitioner from Bajianongchang, Jianping County, Chaoyang City, was released from prison in 2015.
She and three other practitioners were arrested on December 13, 2018, at her neighbor's home. Her 80-year-old father-in-law is bedridden, with no one to take care of him.
Ms. Fu and her husband Mr. Yin Guozhi have been persecuted for years because they practice Falun Gong.
Officers from the Bajianongchang Police Station broke into Ms. Fu's home on the morning of July 28, 2009. They ransacked the house and confiscated computers, printers, and Falun Gong books. Ms. Fu and her son were taken to the police station at around noon. Her son was released later that day.
Ms. Fu's husband, Mr. Yin, was forced to become homeless, and Ms. Fu was sentenced to seven years in prison. He was put on the police wanted list, and a reward of 50,000 yuan (approximately $7,300) was offered by the Chaoyang City police. His photo was posted everywhere on the streets in Jianping County.
To seize Mr. Yin, the police forced his family, relatives, and friends to look for him. For some time, police went to a senior Falun Gong practitioner's home four times a day to harass her.
Many Falun Gong practitioners in Jianping, Lingyuan, and Chaoyang areas were implicated, and many of them were arrested and had their homes ransacked. Some were taken to a labor camp, while several were forced into homelessness. Thousands of yuan in cash were confiscated from Falun Gong practitioners as well.
Police also went to a construction team in Lingyuan to search for Mr. Yin. Pressured by the police, the construction team had to stop working for several days, resulting in the construction site closing down.
Mr. Yin has been homeless over the past ten years. He cannot take care of his child and parents.
