(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 were illegally arrested.

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lei Xiuxiang Tortured in Detention Center

Ms. Lei Xiuxiang has been held in the Jilin Detention Center since August 7, 2015. Guards assigned her to do hard labor, but she refused. Qian Yingzhi and other inmates were ordered to drag Ms. Lei to the bathroom and beat her. They pinched her nipples, grabbed and pulled her breasts, and stabbed her ribs with toothpicks.

Ms. Lei was handcuffed and shackled. She was deprived of sleep for over 20 days. As soon as she closed her eyes, inmates would wake her up.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Nine Practitioners Detained

Nine practitioners from Shihe Town in the Jinzhou District were arrested and taken to various detention centers.

Ms. Zhang Sanman, Ms. Gu Xiuhua, Ms. Sun Baoying, Ms. Wang Liguo, and Ms. Tan Chunrong are being held in the Dalian Detention Center.

Mr. Zhou Xing, Mr. Li Tianxue, and Mr. Liu Jinglong are being held in the Jinzhou Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Xiyong is being held in the Benxi Detention Center.

3. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Shuying and Ms. Zhao Xiuqin from Bajianongchang Township were reported to the authorities when they were distributing Falun Gong calendars. They were arrested by officers from the Bajianongchang Police Station on December 10, 2018, and their homes were ransacked. Both practitioners were released several hours later.

Yu Aijun, director of the police station, and other officers went to Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhao's homes and arrested them on the afternoon of December 13. Ms. Fu Jinghua and another practitioner, who were at the scene, were also arrested.

Ms. Wang, Ms. Zhao, and Ms. Fu were taken to the Xidayingzi Detention Center in the Chaoyang District that evening, while the other practitioner managed to escape.

4. [Tianjin] Mr. Kong Weijin and Ms. Li Donglian Held in Detention Center for Over Eight Months

Mr. Kong Weijin and Ms. Li Donglian were followed and arrested by officers from Zhongbei Police Station in the Xiqing District on April 10, 2018. They are still being held in a detention center.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Yanxia's Home Ransacked

Ms. Li Yanxia's home was ransacked by the Binhai New Area police on December 13, 2018.

6. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yanhua Detained

Ms. Liu Xianhua went out to talk to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of December 13, 2018. She did not return home.

Ms. Liu's husband anxiously asked around for her that evening but couldn't find her. Three days later, he learned that she had been arrested and taken to the Haiyang Detention Center to be held for 15 days.

7. [Taihe County, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liang Xiuqin was arrested by officers from the Santa Town Police Station on August 14, 2018. She was taken to Fuyang City for one month and has since returned home.

Ms. Yang Yulan was also arrested by officers from the Santa Police Station in September. She was held in Fuyang City for one month and has since returned home.

Ms. Liang Liping was arrested by Guanji Town Police Station officers on November 20 and remains in custody.

8. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Shuixian Arrested

Ms. Huang Shuixian was arrested around December 14, 2018.
