1. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Mr. Tian Hui Beaten in Prison

Mr. Tian Hui, a teacher, from Taihe County, was arrested for telling students in his school about Falun Gong. He was sentenced to three years in prison, and taken to the No. 4 Ward of Suzhou Prison in July 2018.

Mr. Tian was beaten by prison guards. They hit his head and face with leather shoes in an attempt to get him to sign a guarantee statement renouncing his belief.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tong Mingyu Mistreated in Prison

Mr. Tong Mingyu is being held in the Fengtun Prison in Qiqihar City. His parents went there to visit him on December 17, 2018.

Mr. Tong was not able to walk or take care of himself due to being persecuted. He had to be carried into the interview room to meet his parents. His face was pale, his eyes were closed, and he did not say a word. His parents asked the prison authorities to give him medical parole, but they refused.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Jingqun Officially Arrested

Ms. Gao Jingqun was officially arrested by the Shenhe District Procuratorate on November 16, 2018. She has been held in the Shenyang City Detention Center for 70 days.

Ms. Gao was arrested on the ground floor of her apartment building by Zhao Qian, a deputy director of the Zhujianlu Police Station, and another officer with the last name Jia on October 12, 2018.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Lai Xiuchun Mistreated in Detention Center

Ms. Lai Xiuchun from the Miyun District was sentenced to an 18-month prison term in November 2018. She is still being held in the Miyun Detention Center.

Guards instigated inmates to beat her. She was not allowed to eat or drink for long periods of time, or wear winter clothes in the freezing temperatures.

5. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Shao Guifen Detained

Ms. Shao Guifen from Tukanzi Village was arrested by plainclothes officers who were staked out there on the morning of December 19, 2018. She had been distributing Falun Gong desktop calendars.

Ms. Shao was taken to the Qinglong County Detention Center, to be held for five days.

6. [Guangzong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Jinhuan and Ms. Kong Lanci Arrested

Mr. Li Jinhua and Ms. Kong Lanci were arrested by Zhang Mengkan, head of the Domestic Security Division, and other officers on December 20, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Guangzong County Police Department.

7. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gai Guangsheng Arrested

Mr. Gai Guangsheng, from Tananbo Village, Jiangtuan Town, was arrested on the morning of December 21, 2018. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and other personal belongings.

8. [Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Shi Guanxian's Case Turned Over to Court

Mr. Shi Guanxian was arrested by officers from the Jiangnan Police Station on June 21, 2018. His case has been turned over to the Wucheng District Court in Jinhua City.

9. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Ma Yilun and Ms. Huang Guiye Detained

Mr. Ma Yilun and Ms. Huang Guiye, from Gurao Town in the Chaoyang District, were arrested at home on December 19, 2018. They are being detained.

10. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Facing Trial

Ms. Guo Yafen, Ms. Zeng Huaying, and Mr. Zeng Haiping will be tried by the Mei County Court on the morning of December 28, 2018.

11. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Pan Shuping Taken to Prison

Ms. Pan Shuping was sentenced to an 18-month prison term by the Liwan District Court on October 31, 2018. She was taken to Guangdong Province Women's Prison on November 20.

12. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiao Jiying and Ms. Wang Jirong Arrested

Ms. Xiao Jiying and Ms. Wang Jirong from Yinfeng Town were arrested by officers from the Yinfeng Police Station on the morning of December 21, 2018, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong at the Yinfeng Town Farmers' Market.
