(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 10 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Wenling City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Yu Lixin Arrested

Mr. Yu Lixin's home has been under continuous surveillance by officers from the Xinhe Town Police Station since the beginning of September 2019. Mr. Yu left his home for ten days on September 16.

Li Yi, deputy secretary of the Xinhe Party Committee, and other officers called for a locksmith, opened the door and entered Mr. Yu’s home on September 23.

Mr. Yu. He was arrested when he returned home on the evening of September 26, and remained under close surveillance by Li and other officers around the clock.

2. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wu Fangming Arrested

Ms Wu, over 80 years old, was arrested at home on the afternoon of September 29, 2019, by over a dozen officers from the Tuanjie Police Station, carrying video cameras. They confiscated a notebook computer, printer, USB flash drives and her motorcycle.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yao Zhenrong Detained

Mr. Yao Zhenrong, 79, was arrested by officers from the Minglian Police Station on the afternoon of September 22, 2019. They ransacked the place, and confiscated Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and a DVD burner. Mr. Yao was taken to the police station.

The police told his family to go to the police station to deliver meals to him the following day.

Mr. Yao was transferred to the Huanggu District Detention Center.

4. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Changfu Taken to Prison

Mr. Zhao Changfu was taken to the Jinzhou Prison on September 3, 2019. He was later transferred to the Shenyang City No. 2 Prison.

5. [Dezhou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xia Shanhong Detained

Ms. Xia Shanhong, her father, and son were arrested at a train station. Her father and son were later released. Ms. Xia was placed under detention.

6. [Luoding City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Shen Xuemei Detained

Ms. Shen Xuemei was arrested in the early hours of October 1, 2019. She was handcuffed and taken to her home by a large number of police officers. The police ransacked the place, and confiscated several Falun Dafa books. Ms. Shen is being held in the Weidi Administrative Detention Center.

This is the third time Ms. Shen has been arrested. She was taken to a forced labor camp in 2000 for over a year. The second time she was detained for ten days.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Changzhu Arrested

Mr. Li Changzhu was arrested on October 2, 2019.

8. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhou Changxia and Ms. Xiao Yanfang Arrested

Ms. Zhou Changxia and Ms. Xiao Yanfang, 83. from the Pudong New Area, were arrested on September 29, 2019. Ms. Xiao was later released. Ms. Zhou was taken to the Pudong District Detention Center.

9. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen was arrested around September 21, 2019. She is being held in the Huafeng Detention Center.

10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Guizhen Arrested

Ms. Li Guizhen, 65, was arrested around September 19, 2019.

11. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lin Arrested

Ms. Wang Lin, 55, was arrested on October 1, 2019.

12. [Chaling County, Hunan Province] Ms. Peng Haizhu Detained

Ms. Peng Haizhu, in her late 60s, from Xiadong Township, was arrested in August 2019. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for three days.

13. [Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Bian Shudong Arrested

Ms. Bian Shudong was arrested at her rented home on September 30, 2019. The police ransacked the place, and confiscated several copies of Falun Dafa books and some cash. She was taken to the Tongliao City Detention Center that afternoon.

14. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yin Guozhi Arrested

Mr. Yin Guozhi, 53, from Jianping County, has been displaced and now lives in Bajianfang Village, Lingyuan City. He was arrested by officers from the Bajianfang Police Station and the Bajia Police Station, Jianping, on September 26, 2019.
