(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 13 provinces, where at least 47 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Yang Dandan Detained

Ms. Yang Dandan from Dashigezhuang Village, Dasungezhuang Town, Shunyi District was arrested by seven or eight officers from the Renhe Police Station led by Li Liang on the evening of September 20, 2019. The officers went to her home and ransacked the place. Although they did not find anything, they took Ms. Yang and held her in the Renhe Police Station.

2. [Tianjin] Ms. Yao Shilan Taken to Prison from Hospital Bed

Ms. Yao Shilan from Dajianchang Village, Wuqing District was sentenced to five years in prison. It is said that she was hospitalized in the Wuqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for a month and taken directly from hospital bed to the Tianjin Women’s Prison.

Ms. Yao was arrested at home by officers from the Tianjin Police Department and the local police station on April 23, 2019. It was her tenth arrest. Ms. Yao is in her 70s. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

3. [Chongqing] Practitioners Homes Ransacked

Ms. You Zhangfeng and Zhou from Yubei District visited Ms. Tian Qimei at her home on the morning of September 19, 2019. When they were leaving, seven officers from the Yubei District Domestic Security Division and the Shuanglong Police Station intercepted them. The officers entered Ms. Tian’s home, ransacked the place, and took away Falun Gong books and printouts, MP3 players, and other items. The three practitioners were taken to the Shuanglong Police Station where they were  interrogated.

That same morning, nine officers from the Jiangbei District Police Department ransacked Mr. Li Xingming’s home, confiscated Falun Gong books, money notes with Falun Gong messages written on them, discs, U-Drives, and players.

4. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xiaoxuan Detained

Officers from the Xinhua Police Station broke into Ms. Liu’s home and ransacked the place at noon on September 11, 2019. They took the elderly lady to the police station, showed her a photo, and forced her to identify the practitioner. They then arrested the practitioner, Ms. Xiaoxuan, and ransacked her home. Ms. Xiaoxuan is being held at detention center.

5. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zhang Hui was arrested. His sister was arrested at the same time.

Ms. Shi Xiuxia was arrested on September 3, 2019.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Xiaodong Detained

Mr. Wang Xiaodong of Nanguan District was arrested by officers from the Nanjie Police Station. His home was ransacked. It is said that he was subjected to 15 days detention.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Hui Arrested

Ms. Ma Hui was arrested on September 19, 2019. Her home was ransacked.

8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yao Xiurong Detained

Ms. Yao Xiurong of Fengrun District was arrested by officers from the Duanminglu Police Station on the morning of September 19, 2019 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Police ransacked her home in the afternoon and confiscated Falun Gong books, computers, printers, and other items. Ms. Yao is being held at the Fengrun District Detention Center.

9. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Gaiying Detained

Ms. Li Qaiying, 67, was arrested at home by a twelve officers from the Dongcheng District Police Department on the afternoon of September 17, 2019. Her home was ransacked. She is being held at the Xuchang City Detention Center.

10. [Fugou County, Henan Province] Mr. Yue Jingxiang Arrested

Mr. Yue Jingxiang from Yuejia Village, Jiuyuan Township, Fugou County was arrested around September 18, 2019. Mr. Yue works in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. He was forced to leave home for 12 years to avoid persecution.

11. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] At Least Nine Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Yunxia was arrested on September 8, 2019. She is being held at the Gujiao Detention Center.

The Shanxi Province Public Security Office ordered several police departments to arrest practitioners on September 7, 2019. Practitioners known to have been arrested are, Ms. Tian Huiling, Mr. Yang Yong, Ms. Zhou Na, Ms. Gao Jiping and her husband Mr. Zhou, Mr. Zhao Jinzhong, Mr. Gao Wei, and Mi. Police ransacked each practitioner’s home; confiscated printers, computers, and other items from Ms. Tian’s home; confiscated printers, ink jet printers, computers, books, and other items. Ms. Tian was formally arrested by the Yingze Police Department.

12. [Changyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xu Junbo’s Home Ransacked

Twenty four agents and officers from the Changyi City 610 Office and the Buzhuang Police Station ransacked Mr. Xu Junbo’s home in Bu Village on September 3, 2019.

13. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wu Junfeng Detained

Mr. Wu Junfeng, 49, was arrested at home by officers from the Yaoshan Police Station on September 19, 2019. His home was ransacked. Mr. Wu’s family went to the police station the next day and was told that he was being held at the Jinan City Detention Center for criminal detention.

14. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yulian Arrested

Ms. Wang Yulian, around 70, lives in Daxu Village, Lepingpu Town, Chiping County. She was arrested by officers from the Hanji Township Police Station on the morning of September 20, 2019 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Hanji Township Open Market.

15. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Hepinglu Police Station and the Jinshan Police Station broke into practitioner Liu’s home, arrested nine practitioners, and took them to the Runzhou District Police Department on the afternoon of September 18, 2019. The arrested practitioners were, Ms. Bao Shuangdi, Ms. Wu (about 82), Laoni, Ms. Yang Guihua, Ms. Tang, Xiaohan, Ms. Tang, Ms. Wu Xiaoxia, and Ms. Xia Yulan.

16. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ma Yuanjun Detained

Officers from the Wulidun Police Station and the Jinggang Police Station arrested Ms. Ma Yuanjun and three other practitioners on the morning of September 11, 2019. The three practitioners were released that night. Ms. Ma is still being held by police.

17. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Li Xiaochun and Ms. Zeng Yinlang Detained

Ms. Li Xiaochun and her sister Ms. Zeng Yinlang of Jiangzhou County were arrested and taken to the Anqing Detention Center in Anhui Province on the afternoon of September 11, 2019 for distributing Falun Gong materials in Hubei Province. That night, officers from Anhui Province, Hubei Province, and Jiujiang City ransacked the homes of Ms. Li and Ms. Zeng, and confiscated DVD discs.

18. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Jian Arrested

Mr. Zhang Jian from Gezhouba was arrested on September 20, 2019. The same day, several Yichang City practitioners were harassed or arrested. Many homes were ransacked.

19. [Tongzi County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zhang Renying Arrested

Ms. Zhang Renying was arrested in Zhunyi City on the evening of September 17, 2019 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Zhang of Tongzi County fled home to avoid further persecution two years ago.

20. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Hua Mingsu Sentenced to Two Years in Prison

Ms. Hua Mingsu was arrested at home on August 6, 2019. The Pengzhou City Court sentenced her to two years in prison on September 19, 2019. Ms. Hua is being held at the Anjing Detention Center in Pi County.

21. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Liying Arrested

Ms. Zhao Liying, 72, is a retired teacher of Neijiang City Railway Mechanics School. She was arrested on September 14, 2019. It was said that police followed her for some days, arrested her at home, and ransacked her place.
