(Minghui.org) I am a 67-year-old villager. I started practicing Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) in 1995.
Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong, taught us that the whole family benefits when one person practices. The miracles that happened to my family reflect what Master said in the following Fa teaching.
Master answered a student’s question,
“Haven’t I said that with one person practicing, the whole family benefits? At a minimum, the energy field that you carry is beneficial to all of your family members since you are cultivating the righteous Fa, and the benevolent and tranquil power that you carry can rectify all incorrect states.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Australia”)
My daughter is 37 years old. She was born with a cleft lip. She was small and bony. None of my neighbors expected that she would survive. Her legs grew unevenly and her right heel could not reach the ground. She had to wear special shoes. She started to walk unsteadily at the age of 5 and had problems with her speech at age 7. Her cleft lip was stitched at 9. I was worried that she might have to suffer her entire life.
She studied the Fa and did the Falun Gong exercises with us at the group exercise site in 1995. I did not think very much of it. One day in 1996, my husband suddenly noticed that her legs had become normal and her heel could touch the ground. My daughter was very excited. She said, “Now, I can wear any kind of shoes!”
At the age of 23, she met a young man and they later got married. We were very happy for her.
My daughter had no signs of pregnancy six months after they got married. My son-in-law complained to me that my daughter might have a disease. We took her to get a test at the hospital the next day. The doctor told us that she was pregnant. The pregnancy was further confirmed three weeks later. In the summer of the following year, she gave birth to two healthy twin boys.
My daughter had an intrauterine device installed after childbirth. The gynecologist said that she had a malformed uterus and that it was impossible to get pregnant. She was amazed that my daughter had gotten pregnant naturally and given birth to two healthy boys.
My relatives and neighbors were shocked at the news. Someone said, “Dafa gave you two grandsons!”
My husband was hired as a lumberjack in the mountains in the winter of 2000. One night, the shed where the workers stayed was filled with smoke from the stove. He went outside to get some fresh air. After walking a few steps, he tripped over a pile of bricks, fell flat on his face and passed out.
When he was sent home by the other workers the next day, I almost could not recognize him. His face was swollen and deformed. There were several injuries on his face, and his nose was broken.
The injury looked so serious that my family wanted him to get checked out at the hospital. But my husband insisted that he did not feel any pain and did not want to go. He just put on two band-aids. While the swelling was gone three or four days later, there was a permanent dent in the bridge of his nose.
A few years later in 2014, I suddenly noticed that the dent in my husband’s nose was gone, with only a scar remaining as evidence of the miracle.
My second son does not practice Falun Dafa, but he has often recited “Falun Dafa is good.” He was blessed by Dafa also.
One evening in the spring of 2010, he was riding his motorcycle home after a long day of farm work. Tired and dazed by the lights of the oncoming traffic, he ran into a slow-moving tractor ahead of him.
He crashed and lay on the roadside. He could not move or talk. He could hear people saying that this person “was done.” When the tractor owner took him to the county hospital, the doctor found that he was not injured except for a small amount of fluid buildup in the liver. He was put on a watch at the hospital, just in case surgery was needed.
My son could talk again after midnight. The doctor did a checkup the following morning and was surprised to find that the fluid in his liver was gone, and no surgery was needed.
My son was not hurt at all. He'd recited “Falun Dafa is good” right at the moment that he ran into the tractor. He knew it was Master who has protected him.
