(Minghui.org) I am 54 years old and began to cultivate more than 20 years ago. Through Fa study, I gradually understood that “Saving people is the real purpose of my coming to this world.” Therefore, no matter where I go, I put informing people of the truth about Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) as my priority.
I live in a relatively new developed city. There are many migrant workers who work at the construction sites. They are the ones we approach to clarify the truth to.
We take about 100 brochures with us every day. Lunch breaks and afternoon shift changes are good times to speak to them. Several practitioners cooperate when we do this. Someone greets them and hands out Dafa brochures and keepsakes, while others speak to them face to face about Dafa. Still others will then talk about the persecution and the atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), explaining why they should quit the Party. Usually, about 60 people quit the Party whenever we do this, although one time we had a record high of 140 people.
We told the laborers at one construction site that Falun Dafa practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and that Dafa not only enables people to keep fit but also helps people value virtue and family harmony.
The workers were honest and kind. One of them said, “Falun Dafa is good, and being a good person is good. The CCP has never done one good thing. Besides, Jiang Zemin is responsible for the "Tiananmen Self-immolation" hoax, incited people to hate Dafa, and ordered the harvesting of organs from living practitioners for profit."
We also talk about how the CCP has killed more than 80 million of its own people during all its political movements. Now, there are more and more natural and man-made disasters.
After hearing all this, an older laborer said to give him and the others good aliases to quit the Party. The others agreed and quit.
One man said that he had read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and thought it was very good, because it told the truth.
“After I read it,” he said, “my health improved, and my energy increased. The Party has committed crimes and ordinary people have no freedom and there are no human rights.” He quit the Party, too.
I went with another practitioner to distribute Dafa informational materials and clarify the truth in July 2018. We were followed by a young police officer, who disguised himself as a fast food delivery person. We were arrested and taken to the police station.
We asked Master to strengthen us and sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind the police before we talked about Falun Gong. We told them that the reason we were distributing the materials and asking people to quit the Party was because we wanted people to understand the truth and have a good future.
At night, I sat on the floor to meditate and sent forth righteous thoughts. The policewoman on duty suggested that I not sit on the cold floor.
“It doesn't matter,” I said. “Since I practice Falun Gong, I no longer need any drugs. For more than 20 years, I've been physically and mentally healthy and full of energy. Master Li teaches us to be good people and to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Only in China is Falun Gong suppressed. Do you think that is normal?”
The policewoman listened and wanted to learn Falun Gong. I taught her the exercises while talking about Dafa and quitting the CCP. She withdrew from the Party.
We were detained for 15 days. In our cell, there were more than 20 detainees and they asked why we were there. We did not hesitate to tell them about Falun Gong, and eight quit the Party. During our detention, we persuaded 54 people to quit the Party, including five police officers.
Almost every day, after sending forth righteous thoughts at noon, we clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong for two or three hours.
We've encountered individuals who do not accept the truth and create trouble for us. One man yelled and took out his phone to call the police. A practitioner talked to him calmly and peacefully, “Sir, why are you upset? We are here to tell you the truth, to keep you safe. Isn't it all for your own good?”
Our calmness and compassionate thoughts suppressed his evil side and he stopped trying to call the police. But he was still yelling. We continued to explain the truth to him until he calmed down. So, even though he didn't quit the Party, we knew that he would no longer commit a crime against practitioners.
Since the onset of the persecution of Falun Gong, I have been repeatedly arrested and taken to brainwashing sessions, detention centers, and labor camps. My home was ransacked more than five times. My husband was also persecuted, and many of our belongings were confiscated. But no matter what, I've never wavered in my belief in Master and Dafa.
