Ireland: Celebrating Chinese New Year and Sharing Falun Gong with the Community

Feb. 7, 2019 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Ireland

(Minghui.org) As Chinese New Year drew near, Falun Gong practitioners in Dublin celebrated the holiday with local residents on February 2, 2018. Besides the Dragon Dance and Waist Drum performances, the practitioners demonstrated the peaceful exercises. They gave a brief presentation on background of this ancient mind and body cultivation practice and told people about the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Practitioners tell people about Falun Gong and how it's being persecuted in China.

People were drawn to the practitioners' demonstration of the exercises, and the Dragon Dance, Waist Drum, and Lotus Dance performances. Many stopped to learn more and sign the petition calling on the Chinese regime to end the persecution and the crime of killing innocent practitioners for their organs.

Practitioners celebrate Chinese New Year by performing the Dragon Dance and Waist Drums on February 2, on Henry St.
