(Minghui.org) I have practiced Falun Dafa for 20 years, and I have experienced a lot of amazing things.
I was illegally arrested and put in a brainwashing center in September 2005. On my second day at the brainwashing center, I had the thought of not going along with the persecution.
When I went on a hunger strike, the officers made me sit in the double lotus position for three hours in the morning in the female position (putting right leg up first, and then left leg on top of the right leg), and another three hours in the afternoon in the male position (putting left leg up first, and then right leg on top of the left leg).
In the morning, a female officer put her feet on top of my legs, so I couldn’t move at all. She sat in a chair staring at me arrogantly. Four or five people stood around me slandering Dafa. I ignored them.
In the afternoon, a male officer came in and put his feet on mine for another 3 hours.
I was able to remain calm. After I got up I was able to move around normally. They were surprised and thought I had a high level of ability.
A week later, the woman officer asked me, “Weren’t your legs in pain when you sat in the double lotus position?”
I said, “I meditate for an hour every day. When you put your feet on mine, I had the thought to transfer all my karma to you through your legs.” She was upset to hear this and left immediately.
When the male officer showed up some time later, someone asked him, “Are you feeling better?” Then I realized that I hadn’t seen him for a week because he was ill!
I realized that Dafa disciples have the mission to save sentient beings and validate the Fa. I should not acknowledge the persecution. On the surface, Dafa disciples are being persecuted, but in fact, the persecutors are persecuting themselves!
Master told us,
“When Dafa disciples have strong righteous thoughts and no fear, they can use righteous thoughts to turn the tables on the evildoers. Whether it’s when the wicked policemen are using electric batons or when bad people are injecting drugs to persecute you, you can use your righteous thoughts to redirect the electric current or the drugs back to the person doing violence to you. You can do it with or without your palm erected—it works as soon as your righteous thoughts emerge.” (“Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts”, The Essentials of Diligent Progress)
Master said,
“The fact is, at this time Dafa disciples have to do divine things, because for Dafa disciples their personal cultivation is no longer first and foremost. Saving sentient beings and reconstructing the colossal firmament during the Fa-rectification are the purpose.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference”, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. VII)
I was persecuted and incarcerated again in 2011. I immediately started sending righteous thoughts and I asked Master to protect the Dafa materials at home that I didn’t get a chance to hide. The materials were on my bed.
My mother later told me that when the police came to my house they went right to my room. My 6-year-old niece had never slept in my room before, but she insisted on sleeping there the night before the police came. As soon as they came, she grabbed the bag of materials and hid them under the quilt. All the materials were protected.
When I was detained, I sent righteous thoughts asking Master not to let the police interrogate me. When a police officer came in to the room where I was being held, he kept walking back and forth. As he paced back and forth he repeatedly said, “I feel confused; why can’t I focus my thoughts?” He soon left.
I kept sending righteous thoughts: “Master, don’t let them interrogate me today. My family will soon come to take me home.” Another policeman came in, but someone called him away. Two more policemen came in later, but they were also called out by others. In the end, no one interrogated me that night. I was released the next day and returned home.
I am grateful for the power Master has given to me.
