(Minghui.org) For many years Falun Dafa practitioners in our area have been making calendars to clarify the truth about Dafa. This year, however, things were different. Several of our local practitioners who were in charge of making calendars were arrested last July. Our group was now smaller. but we decided to continue to make and distribute the calendars.

Two older practitioners punched holes and assembled the calendars. It was hard work and made their shoulders sore, but they never complained. One of them lived quite far away – she first had to walk to the station, and then take a bus. Another practitioner is over 70. Her husband often prepares meals for the group of practitioners. 

Another practitioner who is also over 70 delivers the calendars to practitioners who then will distribute them. She travels all over town at her own expense.

Our coordinator always arrived early and stayed late. She often purchased meals for everyone, paying for them out of her pocket. She helped deliver materials and did everything without complaining.

Another practitioner studied the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts every morning, and then went out to clarify the truth to people about Falun Dafa. She would take a large bag of calendars, and would give a calendar to each person who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), or expressed support for Falun Dafa. She always went out with a full bag and distributed every calendar. 

She said it used to be that although people liked the calendars, they were afraid to take them. This year it is different. She said that most people were happy to take the calendars and quit the CCP, often using their own names. Some people warned the practitioners to be careful, and some even helped distribute the calendars. 

There were some challenges. After a man said he would take a calendar, he was asked about quitting the CCP. He became stern, and accused the practitioner of being unpatriotic. 

The practitioner told him: “I am a retired farmer. No one pays us to do this. We could stay home and be comfortable instead of coming out in all kinds of weather, but we come out to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa. We want everyone to quit the CCP, to assure they won't be implicated when the CCP loses power and is punished.”

The man's attitude changed. He agreed to quit the CCP, and accepted a calendar.

Once again, our calendars have been a means to spread the truth about Dafa.
