1. [Lushan County, Henan Province] Mr. Si Taian Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Mr. Si Taian, 68, was arrested on June 26, 2020. He was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 2,000 yuan by the Lushan County Court on October 28, 2020.
2. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Zhangqing's Family Faces Trial
Mr. Xu Zhangqing is a Xinpu Town government officer. Mr. Xu, his wife Ms. Tu Ailian, and his son Mr. Xu Gaorui have been detained for 14 months. They are scheduled to be tried in the Anlu Court on the morning of November 17, 2020.
3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Shi Weidong Faces Trial
Mr. Shi Weidong is scheduled to be tried in the Lubei District Court on the morning of November 15, 2020.
Mr. Shi was arrested by officers from the Liyuan Police Station on the morning of July 3, 2019. His home was ransacked. His wife Ms. Lu Cuijun and his sister Ms. Shi Yanli were arrested at the same time but released separately later. Mr. Shi has been held at the Tangshan City No. 1 Detention Center.
4. [Tianjin] Malevolence in Qianjing Prison
For the last three months, Li Lanqiang, Wang Jianfu, Zou Xiong, Qin Wei, and other practitioners were deprived of sleep every day in Qianjin Prison.
A practitioner, name unknown, a master candidate at a university, has been incarcerated in the prison twice and is suffering from a mental disorder as a result of torture.
A warden named Gao Chuang openly said that all practitioners who entered Qianjin Prison would be “transformed:” “If you do not comply, do not write a repentance statement, and do not slander Falun Gong, we will make your life a living hell, harvest your organs, and tell the outside world that you died from practicing Falun Gong.”
5. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Li Bairong and Ms. Sun Qin Arrested
Li Bairong (gender unknown) and Ms. Sun Qin were arrested and taken to a police department on the afternoon of November 8, 2020, when the two were out talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
6. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Huang Lianzhen and Ms. Shi Xiaoying Disappeared
Ms. Huang Lianzhen and Ms. Shi Xiaoying have been missing since the end of October 2020. Their families suspect they were arrested.
7. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Fu Xiying Harassed
Fu Xiying (gender unknown) of Honghe Farm, Jiansanjiang, was pressed to write the three statements by community office director Zhao Hong on October 21 and 22, 2020. On October 28, Communist Party deputy secretary of the farm and worker union chairman Yu Jun tried to brainwash Fu and force Fu to “transform.”
Fu was harassed at home on November 9, 2020. Local police station squadron leader Li Jianjun and traffic team head Sun Jian were guided by community agents and came to Fu’s home. They ordered Fu to report to the police station and said the director wanted to see Fu. Fu refused.
8. [Shanghai] Mr. Kong Lingxu Fired
Mr. Kong Lingxu, a teacher at Pinghe Bilingual School, was reported by a student’s parent on November 3, 2020, for talking about the persecution of Falun Gong on Instagram. School leaders and the primary school’s assistant director Jiang Rong fired him the same day and ordered him not to tell anyone. If he did, they would report him to the police.
9. [Ningxiang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Gang's Family Arrested
Mr. Wang Gang of Ningxiang City, his wife Ms. Zhao Chunping, and their son Mr. Wang Zhuo, a non-practitioner, were arrested on October 1, 2020. Two dozen officers from Xiangxiang City came to Ningxiang City and arrested them. The family was subjected to criminal detention. It was said that they would be sentenced.
10. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Cai Hengjun Detained
Cai Hengjun (gender unknown) was arrested at his or her son’s home by Longtian Police Station officers on October 2, 2020. They seized a computer, two cell phones, and other belongings. Cai was subjected to criminal detention and is being held at an unknown location.
Cai was subjected to forced labor in 2000 and incarcerated for three years in Baoding City Prison.
11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Jingru’s Husband Arrested
Ms. Li Jingru’s husband was arrested at home by officers from the Zhaoyuan County Police Department and the Xinzhan Town Police Station on the morning of November 9, 2020. The officers came to harass Ms. Li, but she was out. They seized Falun Gong books and took her husband to the station. He was released an hour later.
12. [Zhongwei City, Ningxia Province] Ms. Jing Yuling Detained
Ms. Jing Yuling was arrested at home by a dozen officers from the Zhongwei City Domestic Security Division and Police Department on October 24, 2020. They used a saw to break in her door and ransacked the place. Ms. Jing was taken to the Yinchuan City Detention Center on October 26, 2020.
13. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dong Yuying Faces Trial
Ms. Dong Yuying was formally arrested. She will be tried at the end of November 2020.
14. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Chen Honglan Detained
Ms. Chen Honglan, 57, of Shou County was arrested by officers from the Shuangqiao Police Station, led by village secretary Wang Wensheng, on May 17, 2020. Her home was ransacked. Her computer, printer, and other belongings were confiscated. Ms. Chen is being held in the Huainan City Detention Center. She suffers from stomach bleeding as a result of abuse.
15. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Mei Sentenced to Two Years in Prison
Ms. Dong Mei was sentenced to two years in prison. Her attorney told her family the news on November 9, 2020. Ms. Dong appealed.
16. [Ju County, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Shifen Harassed, Daughter Arrested
Ms. Sun Shifen was harassed at home by three officers from the Guozhuang Police Station on November 4, 2020. They seized a copy of Zhuan Falun, an audio player, calendars, and other items. The next day, November 5, four officers came to Ms. Sun’s home for “evidence” and forced her to put her fingerprints on documents. They asked her where she had gotten her audio player and calendars. That same day, Ms. Sun’s daughter was arrested, taken to the police station, and told that she would be fined.
17. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Fu Weineng Arrested
Mr. Fu Weineng, 75, was arrested by three officers at 6 a.m. on October 2, 2020, for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong. That afternoon, he was taken to his rental home, where the police ransacked the place and seized Falun Gong books and other materials. The officers took him away and his whereabouts are unknown.
18. [Tianjin] Ms. Yuan Xiuqing Harassed
Ms. Yuan Xiuqing was harassed at home by officer Sun Bin from the Zhuzhuang Police Station and two police assistants on November 7, 2020. They took pictures of her.
19. [Wanzhai County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yang Dexin’s Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Yang Dexin, 52, was stalked and arrested by officers from the Qingshanhu District Domestic Security Division on July 29, 2019. He was held at the Nanchang City No. 1 Detention Center.
Since early July 2020, the Nanchang City No. 1 Detention Center online deposit application does not recognize Mr. Yang in the system. Mr. Yang’s family has been trying to locate him. But his whereabouts are unknown. His mother, nearly 90, is so worried she hardly eats or sleeps. Mr. Yang has been unjustly imprisoned for 11 years in total.
20. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Harassed
Mr. Guo Haidong, Ms. Li Xiumin, and Ms. Guo Huizhi were harassed at home by a judicial officer from the Xinkaikou Town government and three officers from the Xinkaikou Police Station in October 2020. They ordered the practitioners to sign a guarantee statement. The practitioners refused.
21. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Shujun Harassed
Ms. Liu Shujun was harassed at home by agents from the Hexi Office and Zhanqian Community Committee on July 30, 2020. They ordered her to give up Falun Gong and registered her residency somewhere else. Ms. Liu did not comply and clarified the truth to them.
Ms. Liu was harassed at home again on September 30, 2020, by two agents who had come before and two new people. They tried to take pictures of her, but she refused to cooperate.
22. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Chen Haiyan Detained
Chen Haiyan (gender unknown) was arrested by officers from the Tiebei Police Station on November 6, 2020, after someone reported Chen for distributing Falun Gong flyers. Chen’s home was ransacked. Chen is being held in the city.
23. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cang Fengying Harassed
Ms. Cang Fengying of Shuangcheng City was harassed by Dongfeng Police Station officers on November 9, 2020. They asked her if she still practiced Falun Gong, searched her home, and confiscated a 2019 calendar.
24. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Court Will Hear Ms. Bai Mingfang’s Pension Case
On March 20, 2020, Ms. Bai Mingfang filed a charge against Jinzhou City Human Resource and Social Security Center for terminating her pension. After she lost the case in the Songshan District Court on June 23, Ms. Bai appealed to the Jinzhou City Intermediate Court, which took the case on November 6, 2020. Her case is scheduled to be heard on the morning of November 19, 2020.
25. [Gulin County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Luo Qingsheng Arrested and Ms. Zhou Mo Harassed
Mr. Luo Qingsheng was arrested by police and agents from the procuratorate and judiciary at the end of October 2020. Mr. Luo’s whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Zhou Mo was harassed at home by agent Fu Zhongkai and three others from the Dongxin District. They ordered Ms. Zhou to write a “guarantee statement,” but she refused.
26. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Luo Harassed
Ms. Luo, in her 80s, has been repeatedly harassed by officers from the Yangjiaqiao Town Police Station. Ms. Luo wrote “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” on her door in red paint. Officer Wang Xiao and village deputy director Zhang Weihong covered the phrases with white paint on October 30, 2020.
27. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yan Still in Police Custody
Ms. Wang Yan was arrested by officers from the Guilin Street Police Station after someone reported her on November 9, 2020. She has since been held at the police station.
28. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cui Weiwei Arrested
Ms. Cui Weiwei was arrested at home at noon on November 9, 2020.
29. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yao Shuxia Detained
Ms. Yao Shuxia of Hailin City was subjected to 15 days detention by the Hailin Police Station. She is being held at the Hailin Detention Center. Her family went to visit her, but detention center officials refused to let them meet.
30. [Chongqing] Ms. Jiang Chunyan Harassed
Ms. Jiang Chunyan received a call from Wang Hua, director of Shuitu Town Police Station, on November 10, 2020. Wang demanded that Ms. Jiang sign statements renouncing Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang refused. Police then harassed Ms. Jiang’s husband at work.
31. [Bairin Left Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Lanqin Arrested and Ms. Chen Guixia harassed
Ms. Zhang Lanqin, 65, was arrested on November 5 or 6, 2020. Her home was ransacked.
Ms. Chen Guixia was harassed by a community officer and community agents. Ms. Chen was not at home. The harassers threatened her family, ransacked her home, and seized Falun Gong books and writings.
32. [Shengmu City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Qiaolian and Practitioner Wu Xiaojun Harassed
Ms. Liu Qiaolian, 75, was harassed at home by a community Communist Party deputy secretary and an agent on November 10, 2020. They ordered her to renounce Falun Gong.
Wu Xiaojun (gender unknown) was harassed at home by community officers and agents on November 10, 2020. They ordered Wu to renounce Falun Gong. It was part of Shaanxi Province Political and Legal Affairs Committee’s zero-out campaign, a concerted effort to force every single practitioner on the government’s blacklists to renounce Falun Gong.
33. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Guilan and Practitioner Zhou Arrested
Ms. Lu Guilan and Zhou (gender unknown) were arrested on the afternoon of November 9, 2020. Their whereabouts are unknown.
