(Minghui.org) A Bengbu City, Anhui Province, resident was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for her faith in Falun Gong shortly after she was arrested in April 2019.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Prior to her latest sentencing, Ms. Wu Jufeng, 69, was arrested multiple times for practicing Falun Gong. She was sent to forced labor camps twice for more than four years in the early days of the persecution.

She was arrested again on May 15, 2014, at home. She was sentenced to four years and three months and incarcerated in Anhui Province Women’s Prison, where she was forced to do intensive unpaid labor.

She was arrested and sentenced one more time, less than a year after she was released in June 2018.
