(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yang Bo Taken to Prison
2. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Song Xiaomei Arrested
3. [Tianjin] Ms. Qi Qinglian Incarcerated in Tianjin Women’s Prison
4. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Kunhong’s Home Ransacked
5. [Yecheng County, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Xuebin Arrested
6. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoxian Detained
7. [Beijing] Ms. Li Ruiling Detained
8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Hou Yinxiang and Mr. Zhao Lizhong Arrested; Mr. Li Taimin and His Wife Ms. Zheng Jinwen’s Cases Turned Over to Court

1. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yang Bo Taken to Prison

Mr. Yang Bo was sentenced to an eight-year prison term, and taken to Beijiang Prison on or around December 14, 2019.

2. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Song Xiaomei Arrested

Ms. Song Xiaomei was arrested on the evening of January 16, 2020.

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Qi Qinglian Incarcerated in Tianjin Women’s Prison

Ms. Qi Qinglian was arrested on February 25, 2019, and sentenced to a two-year prison term in December. She is incarcerated in the No. 5 Ward of Tianjin Women’s Prison.

4. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Kunhong’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Huang Kunhong was caught on surveillance cameras distributing information about Falun Gong on January 1, 2020. Officers from Gongbei Police Department ransacked her home the following day, and confiscated several Falun Dafa books.

5. [Yecheng County, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Xuebin Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xuebin, 48, was arrested at Taxinan Petroleum Base on August 23, 2019. Several of her houses were ransacked.

6. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoxian Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiaoxian, in her 50s, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in early January, 2020. She was arrested on January 16, and taken to Baishan Detention Center, Jilin Province.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Li Ruiling Detained

Ms. Li Ruiling, in her 50s, was arrested by officers from Huashi Police Station on January 20, 2020. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in Dougezhuang Village Detention Center, Qiliqu Township, Changping County. The police arrested someone who was visiting her when they ransacked Ms. Li’s home.

8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Hou Yinxiang and Mr. Zhao Lizhong Arrested; Mr. Li Taimin and His Wife Ms. Zheng Jinwen’s Cases Turned Over to Court

Mr. Hou Yinxiang and Mr. Zhao Lizhong from the Caofeidian District were arrested by officers from Tanghai Town Police Station on the morning of January 19, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Mr. Zhao was released later that day, and Mr. Hou returned home the following day.

The cases of Mr. Li Taimin and his wife Ms. Zheng Jinwen from the Caofeidian District were turned over to the Luannan County Court.
