(Minghui.org) Practitioner Ms. Wang could not believe the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) authorities announcement, when her husband told her that the residential area they lived in was going to stop being under lock down. The CCP Virus hadn’t disappeared yet, and she couldn’t imagine what would be happening next.
She read the first 20 pages of Lecture One in Zhuan Falun four times.
Master said:
“... these lives should have been destroyed upon falling to this level. Out of their benevolent compassion, however, the great enlightened beings gave them one more chance and constructed this special environment and unique dimension. (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
The five words “Gave them one more chance” somehow jolted her mind She realized that she should do what Master asked practitioners to do. Whether the city was locked down or not, she should come out and clarify the truth about Dafa, regardless of what was announced.
For me it was a given that I clarify the truth to people every day. If every practitioner has the urgency of awakening people’s conscience, tell people about Falun Dafa, put up posters, distribute Dafa informational materials, make phone calls, and try their best, that’s what Master wants.
I have two copies of Zhuan Falun. When I opened one book and saw Master’s photo, I saw blood and tears in Master’s eyes. Master was worrying that practitioners didn’t let go of attachments, didn’t reach the criterion set by Master, that not enough people were saved, that some practitioners didn’t fulfill their vows, and thus are unable to return to their original homes.
One of the copy of Zhuan Falun was given to me by Mr. Zhang, who is cultivating on and off. I realized that I should share with him, and let him come back to cultivation. We don’t have much time to lose.
Remembering the Urgency of Awakening People’s Conscience
Master said:
“I can tell you explicitly that early on I had planned on ending the persecution this year (warm applause), at the twenty-year mark. Although it has turned out that the old forces have changed things a bit, the furnace is running out of coal, and the flame is no longer sufficient. So this affair will soon conclude. That’s all the more reason for you to do well. ” (“Fa Teaching at the 2019 New York Fa Conference”)
Although I followed my routine every day, I didn’t feel the urgency of awakening sentient beings’ conscience.
When on my way home one day, I saw a girl at the bus stop. I was a bit tired and didn’t want to talk to her. When I was crossing the road, this sentence came into my mind: “You were not compassionate.” I apologized to Master in my heart, and crossed the road to talk to her. She listened carefully, and thanked me again and again.
Then I went a bit further to clarify the truth to a young couple. They agreed to withdraw from the CCP. I clarified the truth to three people because of Master’s reminder. My laziness, fear of hardship, and pursuit of comfort prevented me from being diligent and attempting to awaken peoples’ conscience.
Sometimes I was not able to talk to people face to face. Yet I asked Master to send predestined people to me.
I saw two people walking their dogs one snowy day. I didn’t clarify the truth to them because I thought they must have been told the truth. I saw them walking the dogs every day. I slipped on the ice, and fell. I realized that I didn’t fulfill my vows.
I planned to stay at home writing this experience sharing article. But on second thought I could write the article at night. If I missed this time, then I would miss the opportunity of saving sentient beings. I switched off my computer at 3 p.m., went outside, and didn’t come home until 5 p.m. Thanks to Master’s strengthening, I helped 15 people quit the CCP.
I saw a young lady taking a photo of the poster on the wall which said “A good anti-pandemic remedy – recite Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She was going to post it on social media. Sentient beings were waiting to be saved.
A husband and wife in their 80’s, both are practitioners, were very diligent in clarifying the truth. They went inside buildings to distribute truth-clarification fliers. One person started from the top going down stairs while the other from bottom up. The buildings were between six and eight floors. They went from one building to the other, and were not deterred by the hardship. They distributed fliers for three hours a day. When they came across surveillance cameras, the male practitioner was tall, so he could block the cameras with his body, while the female practitioner put up posters with Dafa information on the wall. They cooperated very well.
The sudden change of situation in year 2020 made everyone feel at a loss. Dafa practitioners have had to be mindful and examine themselves to see where we fell short and where we had not yet reach the Fa standard and improve as soon as possible. We still have time to make things up, and try our best to not leave any regrets.
